- Das 15-km-Skilanglauf-Verfolgungsrennen der Männer bei den Olympischen Winterspielen 1998 fand am 14. Februar 1998 im Snow Harp in Hakuba statt. Gestartet wurde mit dem Abständen aus dem vorherigen 5-km-Lauf in der klassischen Technik vom 12. Februar. Olympiasieger wurde Thomas Alsgaard, der von Platz fünf gestartet war, aus Norwegen vor den Sieger des 10-km-Laufes Bjørn Dæhlie und Wladimir Smirnow, der viertplatzierte des 5-km-Laufes, aus Kasachstan. - The men's 15 kilometre freestyle pursuit cross-country skiing competition at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, was held on 14 February at Snow Harp. The startlist for this race was based on the 10 km classical event from earlier in the games. The winner of the 10 km classical event, Bjørn Dæhlie of Norway, was the first starter in the pursuit. The rest of the competitors started behind Dæhlie with the same number of seconds that they were behind him at the 10 km classical event. The winner of the race was the first competitor to finish the pursuit. (en)
- Bieg łączony mężczyzn na dystansie 10 km stylem klasycznym + 15 km stylem dowolnym podczas Zimowych Igrzysk Olimpijskich 1998 w Nagano został rozegrany w dniach 12-14 lutego. Wzięło w nim udział 87 zawodników z 29 państw. Mistrzem olimpijskim w tej konkurencji został Norweg Thomas Alsgaard. Był to ostatni raz na igrzyskach olimpijskich, kiedy rozegrano bieg łączony mężczyzn w tym formacie. Rozegrany 12 lutego bieg na 10 km stylem klasycznym był osobną konkurencją medalową, jak i pierwszą częścią biegu łączonego. Druga część, bieg na 15 km stylem dowolnym, odbyła się 14 lutego, a zawodnicy startowali według kolejności i z odstępami czasowymi uzyskanymi w biegu na 10 km. Czasy obu biegów sumowano i na tej podstawie przyznawano medale w biegu łączonym. (pl)
