- Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) is the governing body for football in the Republic of China (commonly known as Taiwan). Its official name in Chinese is the Republic of China Football Association, but due to the political status of Taiwan it is billed abroad as the "Chinese Taipei Football Association" and uses the English initials TPE on its badge. The CTFA organizes the men's and women's national teams and administers the territory's professional league the Taiwan Football Premier League. As members of East Asian Football Federation its national teams are eligible for the EAFF E-1 Football Championship and the country's membership in AFC allows teams to participate in that organizations club and national team competitions. Taiwan is also a member of FIFA and is therefore eligible to play in the World Cup. (en)

- La Asociación de Fútbol de China Taipéi (CTFA, chino tradicional: 中華民國足球協會) es el organismo rector del fútbol en la República de China (Taiwán). Fue fundada en 1936 y desde 1954 es miembro de la FIFA y la AFC. Compite bajo la denominación de China Taipéi en casi todas las competiciones, forzada por las exigencias de la República Popular China hacia los organismos internacionales para evitar cualquier tipo de trato que pudiese sugerir la independencia de la República de China. Además, debe conformarse con participar con una bandera inventada por dichos organismos para tal efecto. Foi fundada em 1924 como Associação de Futebol da República da China, é filiada à Federação Internacional de Futebol (FIFA) desde 1954 e ajudou a fundar a Confederação Asiática de Futebol (AFC) em 1955, no entanto foi expulsa da AFC em 1973 devido à pressão política da República Popular da China, passando a jogar pela Confederação de Futebol da Oceania (OFC), da qual também foi expulsa. A disputa foi resolvida quando a FIFA rebatizou a entidade com seu nome atual, e a associação retornou à AFC em 1989.
