- Schatten über Camelot ist ein kooperatives Brettspiel von Serge Laget und Bruno Cathala, das Anfang 2005 in den Vereinigten Staaten und im Sommer desselben Jahres in Europa beim Spieleverlag Days of Wonder erschienen ist. Das Spiel für 3–7 Mitspieler ist laut Verlagsangaben für Spieler ab 10 Jahren geeignet und dauert etwa 90 Minuten. Beide Angaben werden von Kritikern angezweifelt und ein Alter von mindestens zwölf Jahren empfohlen sowie eine durchschnittliche Dauer von etwa zwei Stunden angegeben. Die 2008 erschienene Erweiterung Merlins Macht ermöglicht das Spiel mit bis zu acht (bzw. neun, s. unten) Spielern und fügt neue Spielelemente hinzu (→ ). Schatten über Camelot wurde vielfach preisgekrönt: Es erreichte 2005 Platz 7 des Deutschen Spiele Preises, bekam im selben Jahr den österreichischen Preis Spiel der Spiele in der Kategorie „Spiele für Experten“ und wurde 2006 mit einem „Sonderpreis Fantastisches Spiel“ des Kritikerpreises Spiel des Jahres ausgezeichnet. Dans les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde les joueurs endossent les rôles des personnages des légendes arthuriennes : le Roi Arthur, Sire Gauvain, Sire Perceval, Sire Palomides, Sire Galahad, Sire Kay et Sire Tristan. Ensemble, ils doivent combattre les forces du mal en réussissant diverses quêtes, mais fidèle aux légendes, un des joueurs peut se retrouver dans le rôle du félon et trahir ses compagnons. The game was unveiled by the publishers Days of Wonder at the 2005 American International Toy Fair and was more widely released in May and June 2005. The game was also published in French as Les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde and in German as Schatten über Camelot. In 2008, an expansion for Shadows over Camelot was released titled Merlin's Company. Players take on the roles of Knights of the Round Table (with the possibility that one player takes the role of traitor) and play the game by fulfilling quests. The game is cooperative in that a shared victory or loss is possible in the absence of a traitor, and a traitor does not benefit by revealing himself too early. The endgame with a revealed traitor is, by contrast, a competitive game of asymmetric teams. This game was featured in an episode of Geek & Sundry's Tabletop on October 3, 2013 and Table Flip on March 29, 2014. (en)

Il gioco è stato distribuito in Germania con il nome Schatten über Camelot e in Francia con il nome Les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde; in Italia è invece ancora inedito.Il gioco è ambientato all'epoca di Re Artù e vede i giocatori, nei panni dei cavalieri della tavola rotonda, impegnati in eroiche imprese al fine di difendere il regno di Camelot dalle forze oscure che lo minacciano. Per poter vincere i giocatori devono collaborare, ma talvolta tra loro si nasconde un traditore che ha il compito di impedire ai cavalieri di salvare il regno.
