- مجلس النواب التونسي هو الهيئة الحكومية التشريعية السابقة التي كانت تمثل الغرفة الأولى من البرلمان التونسي، وذلك منذ إحداث مجلس المستشارين بموجب تنقيح الدستور لسنة 2002 إلى غاية انتخاب المجلس الوطني التأسيسي في 2011. وقد وقع إحداثه بموجب دستور الجمهورية الذي تم إعلانه في غرة جوان 1959 وكانت تسميته مجلس الأمة منذ تأسيسه وحتى 1981. ويقع مقره بقصر باردو، إحدى ضواحي مدينة تونس.كان مجلس النواب يمثل السلطة التشريعية، يشرع القوانين الجزائية، ويصادق على المعاهدات والاتفاقات الدولية، ويعمل على تحسين ظروف العيش في البلاد، يشرع القوانين المتعلقة بالمصلحة العليا للدولة، وفي الأخير ترجع التنفيذ إلى رئيس الدولة كممثل عن السلطة التنفيذية. وقد منح الدستور التونسي السابق لرئيس مجلس النواب مهام رئاسة الدولة بصفة وقتية في حال شغور المنصب، وذلك لمدة لا تعدو ستين يوما إلى غاية تنظيم انتخابات رئاسية سابقة لأوانها.تم حل المجلس في 2011 وعوض بالمجلس الوطني التأسيسي التونسي حتى سنة 2014 أين تم تنصيب مجلس نواب الشعب الجديد. - Die Abgeordnetenkammer (arabisch مجلس النواب Madschlis an-Nuwwāb, DMG maǧlis an-nūwāb; französisch Chambre des députés) war von der Verfassungsreform von 2002 bis zur Aufhebung der Verfassung im Zuge der tunesischen Revolution 2011 das Unterhaus im Zweikammersystem von Tunesien. Zuvor hatte es nach der Verfassung von 1959 ein Einkammerparlament gegeben, das von ihrem Inkrafttreten bis 1981 Nationalversammlung hieß und anschließend ebenfalls Abgeordnetenkammer. Unter der nachrevolutionären Verfassung von 2014 gibt es wieder ein Einkammerparlament, das sich Volksrepräsentantenversammlung nennt. Die Abgeordnetenkammer bestand zuletzt (von der Wahl 2009 bis zur Auflösung 2011) aus 214 Abgeordneten. Sie tagte in einem Teil des Bardo-Palastes im Tuniser Vorort Le Bardo. (de)
- The Chamber of Deputies (Arabic: مجلس النواب Majlis an-Nuwwāb, French: Chambre des députés) was the lower chamber of the Parliament of Tunisia, the bicameral legislative branch of the government of Tunisia. It has 214 seats and members are elected by popular vote to serve five-year terms. 20% of the seats are reserved for the opposition. Elections are held in the last 30 days of each five-year term. To be eligible for office, one must be a voter with a Tunisian mother or father and be at least 23 years old the day candidacy is announced. The last election to the Chamber of Deputies was held in October 2009. Under the original Tunisian constitution, the Chamber of Deputies theoretically possessed great lawmaking powers, and even had the right to censure the government by a two-thirds majority. In practice, the body was dominated by the Democratic Constitutional Rally (formerly the Neo-Destour Party and Socialist Destour Party) from independence until the 2011 Tunisian revolution. The Neo-Destour won every seat in the Chamber at the first elections in 1959. From then on, Tunisia was effectively a one-party state, even though opposition parties nominally remained legal until 1963. Even after opposition parties were legalized again in 1981, they did not manage to enter the Chamber of Deputies until 1994. Even then, in the five elections held before the overthrow of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in 2011, they never accounted for more than 19 percent of the total seats in the chamber. During the last few years of Ben Ali's tenure, the chamber took an increased role in debating national policy. However, all legislation still originated with the president, and there was little meaningful opposition to presidential decisions. After the Tunisian Revolution of 2011, the Chamber of Deputies was replaced by the Assembly of the Representatives of the People as Tunisia's legislature. (en)
- La Chambre des députés (arabe : مجلس النواب) est la chambre basse du Parlement tunisien de la réforme constitutionnelle du 1er juin 2002, qui a créé une chambre haute, la Chambre des conseillers, à son remplacement par l'assemblée constituante puis par l'Assemblée des représentants du peuple. Fondée en vertu de la constitution du 1er juin 1959 sous l'appellation d'Assemblée nationale (مجلس الأمّة), elle est rebaptisée « Chambre des députés » par la loi constitutionnelle n°81-47 du 9 juin 1981. Elle est dissoute en vertu du décret-loi du 23 mars 2011 portant organisation provisoire des pouvoirs publics puis supprimée par l'article 50 de la Constitution du 10 février 2014. (fr)
- Izba Deputowanych (arab. مجلس النواب) - dawna izba niższa parlamentu Tunezji. Działała w latach 1981-2011, składała się z 214 członków wybieranych na pięcioletnią kadencję. W wyborach stosowano ordynację proporcjonalną. 161 mandatów obsadzanych było w 26 regionalnych, wielomandatowych okręgach wyborczych. Pozostałe 53 miejsca zajmowali kandydaci z list ogólnokrajowych, przy czym w podziale tej puli brały udział wyłącznie ugrupowania, którym nie udało się zdobyć ani jednego mandatu w okręgach. Rozwiązanie takie miało gwarantować obecność w parlamencie sił innych niż zdecydowanie dominujące wówczas na scenie politycznej Tunezji Zgromadzenie Demokratyczno-Konstytucyjne. Czynne prawo wyborcze przysługuje obywatelom Tunezji mającym ukończone 18 lat. Obywatele naturalizowani mogli głosować dopiero po upływie pięciu lat od swojej naturalizacji. Kandydatami mogli być obywatele tunezyjscy w wieku co najmniej 23 lat. Obywatele naturalizowani mogli starać się o wybór jedynie w sytuacji, gdy obywatelstwo Tunezji posiadało też co najmniej jedno z ich rodziców. 22 listopada 2011 Izba Deputowanych została rozwiązana na rzecz nowo wybranego jednoizbowego Zgromadzenia Konstytucyjnego.
