- Ouragan sur le Caine (titre de l'édition poche française Ouragan sur DMS Caine) est un roman de l'auteur américain Herman Wouk (titre original The Caine Mutiny). C'est un ouvrage plutôt long (560 pages) mais apprécié de ses lecteurs. Publié en 1951, ce roman obtint le prix Pulitzer de 1952, dans la catégorie Fiction, et fut un grand succès de librairie. Herman Wouk en tira une pièce de théâtre (centrée uniquement sur le procès en cour martiale des auteurs de la « mutinerie »), jouée dans le monde entier. Among its themes, it deals with the moral and ethical decisions made at sea by ship captains and other officers. The mutiny of the title is legalistic, not violent, and takes place during Typhoon Cobra, in December 1944. The court-martial that results provides the dramatic climax to the plot. (en)
