- ايزو 9362 (المعروف أيضا باسم SWIFT-BIC، BIC code ،SWIFT ID أو SWIFT code) هو صيغة موحدة للرموز المعرفة للبنك التي وافقت عليها المنظمة الدولية للتوحيد القياسي (ايزو).هو رمز هوية فريدة من نوعها لمصرف خاص. هذه الرموز المستخدمة عند تحويل الأموال بين المصارف، لا سيما بالنسبة للنقل الدولي عبر سلك، وأيضا لتبادل الرسائل بين المصارف الأخرى.ويمكن في بعض الأحيان ان توجد على كشوف الحساب. مسألة التداخل بين ايزو 9362 وايزو 13616 تمت مناقشته في مادة الحساب المصرف الدولي (وتسمى أيضا إيبان). رمز سويفت هو 8 أو 11 حرفا، تتكون من :
* 4 حروف—رمز البنك (حروف فقط)
* 2 الحروف -- رمز البلد (رسائل فقط)

- El BIC és un codi d'identificació per a bancs. Els codis estan regularitzats per la norma ISO 9362. Aquest codi s'utilitza, entre altres coses, per a les transferències bancàries internacionals. El BIC té l'estructura següent: AAAABBCC, en què:
* AAAA és el codi del banc (lletres)
* BB és el codi de l'estat (lletres)

- Die Norm ISO 9362 beschreibt einen international standardisierten Code zur Identifikation von Geschäftsstellen im Zahlungsverkehr. Der entstehende BIC (Abkürzung für Business Identifier Code/Geschäftskennzeichen) findet weltweit bei Kreditinstituten, Brokern, Lagerstellen sowie ähnlichen Unternehmen Verwendung und kann jeden direkt oder indirekt teilnehmenden Partner eindeutig identifizieren. Nach seiner ursprünglichen Verwendung im SWIFT-Zahlungsverkehr wird er auch SWIFT-BIC genannt, umgangssprachlich ist auch BIC-Code oder SWIFT-Code üblich; korrekt wäre aber SWIFT-Adresse oder BIC. Bis Juli 2010 stand die Abkürzung BIC für „Bank Identifier Code“ (Bankkennzeichen – im übertragenen Sinne Bankleitzahl). Wenn der BIC einem Geschäftsbetrieb außerhalb des Finanzsektors zugeordnet ist, nennt man ihn auch Business Entity Identifier (Geschäftseinheitenkennung). Auf den BIC wird in ISO 13616 verwiesen, in der die Internationale Bankkontonummer (IBAN) beschrieben ist. Im Zahlungsverkehr des SWIFT-Netzwerkes bleibt das Zahlungsformat undefiniert. Somit bleibt es den beteiligten Banken überlassen, ein Konto zu identifizieren sowie die Transaktion zu bezeichnen. Bei der Schaffung des Europäischen Zahlungsraumes (SEPA) wurde ein Standard entworfen, der mittels IBAN und BIC die Zahlungsteilnehmer identifiziert. Mit TARGET2 haben die europäischen Notenbanken ein Echtzeit-Bruttoabwicklungssystem geschaffen, das im Clearing standardisierter Transaktionen nicht auf den SWIFT-Verbund angewiesen ist (siehe EBICS). - ISO 9362 is an international standard for Business Identifier Codes (BIC), a unique identifier for business institutions, approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). BIC is also known as SWIFT-BIC, SWIFT ID, or SWIFT code, after the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), which is designated by ISO as the BIC registration authority. BIC was defined originally as Bank Identifier Code and is most often assigned to financial organizations; when it is assigned to non-financial organization, the code may also be known as Business Entity Identifier (BEI). These codes are used when transferring money between banks, particularly for international wire transfers, and also for the exchange of other messages between banks.
