- Els apalachicola (també anomenats Pallachacola, ) eren un grup d'amerindis dels Estats Units relacionats amb Creek. Parlaven una de les llengües muskogi relacionada amb eld hitchiti. Vivien al llarg del riu Apalachicola a l'actual Florida. El seu nom potser deriva de l'hitchiti Apalachicoli o del muskogi Apalachicolo, que potser vol dir "Poble de l'altre costat", possiblement referint-se al riu Apalachicola o algun altre proper. Cap al 1706 alguns dels apalachicola es traslladaren de l'àrea del riu Apalachicola al , en la que formaren la futura frontera entre la colònia de Carolina del Sud i Geòrgia. Podrien haver estat capturats durant les britàniques i obligats a traslladar-se a la zona del riu Savannah. Un cens realitzat en 1708 va descriure els apalachicola del riu Savannah com a "Naleathuckles", amb 80 homes assentats en una ciutat a uns 20 quilòmetres fins al riu Savannah. - Apalachicola (sometimes Palachacola) was the name of a Native American town and chiefdom, and of the people living in it, and a group of towns associated with it, located along the lower part of the Chattahoochee River in present-day Alabama and Georgia. The Spanish called the association of towns the Apalachicola Province. It is believed that before the 17th century, the residents of all the Apalachicola towns spoke the Hitchiti language, although other towns whose people spoke Muscogee relocated among the Apalachicolas along the Chattahoochee River in the middle- to later- 17th century. All of the Apalachicola towns moved to central Georgia at the end of the 17th century, where the English called them "Ochese Creek Indians". They moved back to the Chattahoochee River after 1715, with the English then calling them "Lower Creeks" (now called the "Lower Towns of the Muscogee Confederacy"), while the Spanish called them "Ochese".
