- A Corny Concerto is a 1943 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies directed by Bob Clampett. The short was released on September 25, 1943, and stars Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck. They perform a parody of Walt Disney's Silly Symphony cartoon series and specifically his 1940 feature Fantasia. The film uses two of Johann Strauss' best known waltzes, "Tales from the Vienna Woods" and "The Blue Danube". (en)

Il se compose de deux volets illustrant deux des valses les plus connues de Johann Strauss II : Contes de la forêt viennoise et Le Beau Danube bleu. Dans la première séquence, on y voit Porky Pig chasser Bugs Bunny avec son chien ; dans la seconde, on suit les péripéties d'un jeune Daffy Duck, une femelle cygne et ses petits contre un vautour. È un cortometraggio d'animazione della serie Merrie Melodies, prodotto dalla Leon Schlesinger Productions e uscito negli Stati Uniti il 25 settembre 1943, distribuito dalla Warner Bros. Il corto è una parodia del film Disney Fantasia (1940), ed è strutturato in due brevi episodi impostati su altrettanti valzer di Johann Strauss figlio, opportunamente abbreviati e adattati da Carl W. Stalling. Nel 1975 il cartone animato fu inserito nel film documentario Bugs Bunny Superstar, mentre nel 1994 si classificò al 47º posto nel libro di Jerry Beck The 50 Greatest Cartoons. A partire dalla fine degli anni novanta, il corto è più noto in Italia col titolo Uno strano concerto. Oggi è di pubblico dominio, poiché non ne fu rinnovato il copyright. (it)
