- خلال حادثة إطلاق النار في طرابلس 2019 في لبنان، قَتلّ مُسلح أربعة أفراد من رجال الأمن بينهم ضابطي شرطة وجنديين. وقع الهجوم في وقت متأخر من الليل، في حوالي الساعة 23:30، في 4 يونيو 2019. كان المهاجم عضواً حديث العهد بتنظيم الدولة الإسلامية (داعش)، لكن لم تعلن أي جماعة مسؤوليتها عن الهجوم حتى هذه اللحظة، وقد وقع الهجوم حين انتشرت قوات الأمن في شوارع المدينة لحفظ أمن المواطنين في نهاية شهر رمضان وإجازات عيد الفطر. حددت السلطات والجيش هوية المهاجم باسم عبد الرحمن مبسوط، الذي شارك في الحرب الأهلية ضد الحكومة السورية. كما سبق اعتقاله مرة واحدة عام 2016 ثم أطلق سراحه بعد عام في أواخر 2017. - On 3 June 2019, a gunman killed four security members—two police officers and two soldiers—in Tripoli, Lebanon. The attacker was a recent member of the militant group Islamic State (ISIS), but no group claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack took place when security forces were dispatched to the city's streets to ensure citizen safety at the end of the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holidays. The attacker was identified by the authorities and the Lebanese army as Abdel Rahman Mabsout; he was a former ISIS member who had participated in the Syrian Civil War against the Syrian government. He was detained and tried for fighting for ISIS when he returned from Syria in 2016 but was released after a year in jail in late 2017. (en)
- La fusillade de Tripoli est une fusillade de masse survenue le lundi 3 juin 2019 dans la ville de Tripoli au Liban. À la veille de la fête de l'Aïd el-Fitr en soirée vers 22 h 30, Abdel-Rahman Mabsout, terroriste islamiste, tue dans une fusillade deux militaires, le lieutenant Hassan Ali Farhat et le soldat Ibrahim Mohammad Saleh ainsi que deux membres des Forces de sécurité intérieure (FSI), le sergent Johnny Khalil et le caporal Youssef Faraj. Après ses crimes, Mabsout est poursuivi par les forces de l'ordre et un témoin palestinien Saber Mrad qui est touché de trois balles par le terroriste dont deux à la tête mais en survit. Mabsout se réfugie dans une appartement dans la rue de Dar el-Tawlid où il se fait exploser par une bombe attachée à la ceinture suite à l’assaut double des FSI et de l’armée. (fr)
