- The 2015–16 ECHL season was the 28th season of the ECHL. The regular season schedule ran from October 16, 2015 to April 9, 2016 with the Kelly Cup playoffs to follow. Twenty-eight teams in 21 states and one Canadian province each played a 72-game schedule. The league alignment was significantly altered before the season when the American Hockey League announced the formation of a Pacific Division on January 30, 2015 displacing the ECHL teams that had been in California markets. - Die Saison 2015/16 war die 28. Spielzeit der ECHL. Alle 28 Mannschaften bestritten in der regulären Saison, die vom 16. Oktober 2015 bis zum 9. April 2016 ausgetragen wurde, je 72 Spiele. Punktbeste Mannschaft der regulären Saison wurden die Missouri Mavericks, die somit den Henry Brabham Cup gewannen. Anschließend folgten die Playoffs um den Kelly Cup, den wie bereits im Jahr zuvor die Allen Americans gewannen. Wie bereits die Vorsaison ging auch die Spielzeit 2015/16 mit größeren Umstrukturierungen einher. (de)
