- Il campionato mondiale di Superbike 1991 è la quarta edizione del campionato mondiale Superbike riconosciuta ufficialmente dalla FIM. Il campionato piloti è stato vinto, con largo anticipo sul termine della stagione, dallo statunitense Doug Polen su Ducati che ha ottenuto 17 vittorie nelle singole prove. Alle sue spalle il detentore del titolo, il francese Raymond Roche anch'esso su Ducati e vincitore di 4 manche, e l'australiano Robert Phillis su Kawasaki, quest'ultimo senza vittorie in stagione. La casa bolognese Ducati ottiene il primo titolo iridato dei costruttori precedendo Yamaha e Kawasaki. (it)
