| - SMS Weißenburg byla jednou z prvních zaoceánských bitevních lodí německého císařského námořnictva. Šlo o třetí jednotku predreadnoughtů třídy Brandenburg, do které patřily i její sesterské lodě SMS Brandenburg, SMS Kurfürst Friedrich Wilhelm a SMS Wörth. Bitevní lodě třídy Brandenburg byly pro svou dobu jedinečné tím, že nesly šest děl velké ráže ve třech věžích po dvou, na rozdíl od čtyř ve dvou věžích, jak to bylo standardem u jiných námořnictev. - SMS Weißenburg war ein Panzerschiff der ehemaligen Kaiserlichen Marine. Benannt wurde das Schiff zur Erinnerung an die Schlacht bei Weißenburg von 1870. Ab August 1900 diente sie mit ihren Schwestern wegen des Boxeraufstandes für ein Jahr in China. Ab Herbst 1906 gehörte sie zu den Reserveeinheiten der Kaiserlichen Marine, ehe sie im Sommer 1910 an das Osmanische Reich verkauft wurde. Sie wurde unter dem Namen Torgud Reis in den Balkankriegen und im Ersten Weltkrieg eingesetzt. Danach diente sie noch als Schulschiff und schließlich als Wohnschiff. Der endgültige Abbruch erfolgte erst in den 1950er Jahren. (de)
- La SMS Weissenburg fu una nave da battaglia pre-dreadnought della Kaiserliche Marine tedesca, appartenente alla classe Brandenburg; entrata in servizio nell'ottobre del 1894, dopo essere stata rimodernata fu venduta nel 1910 all'Impero ottomano, entrando in servizio con la Osmanlı Donanması sotto il nome di Turgut Reis. Con i nuovi proprietari la nave prese parte estesamente alla prima guerra balcanica, venendo poi utilizzata anche nelle fasi iniziali della prima guerra mondiale. (it)

Construit pour la Marine impériale allemande au début des années 1890, sur les chantiers navals de la compagnie AG Vulcan Stettin, c'est l'un des premiers cuirassés de type pré-Dreadnought construit par l'Allemagne. - SMS Weissenburg was one of the first ocean-going battleships of the Imperial German Navy. She was the third pre-dreadnought of the Brandenburg class, which also included her sister ships Brandenburg, Wörth, and Kurfürst Friedrich Wilhelm. Weissenburg was laid down in 1890 in the AG Vulcan dockyard in Stettin, launched in 1891, and completed in 1894. The Brandenburg-class battleships were unique for their era in that they carried six large-caliber guns in three twin turrets, as opposed to four guns in two turrets, as was the standard in other navies. Nomeado em homenagem à cidade de Weißenburg in Bayern na Baviera, sua construção começou em maio de 1890 nos estaleiros da AG Vulcan Stettin em Estetino e foi lançado ao mar em dezembro do ano seguinte, sendo comissionado na frota alemã em outubro de 1894. Era armado com seis canhões montados em três torres de artilharia duplas, diferentemente do esquema de quatro canhões em duas torres duplas comumente usado em outras marinhas, e possuía um deslocamento de mais de dez mil toneladas e velocidade máxima de dezesseis nós. W 1910 roku sprzedany flocie Imperium Osmańskiego pod nazwą zmienioną na Turgut Reis. SMS "Weißenburg", razem z trzema bliźniaczymi okrętami, był pierwszym pełnomorskim typem przeddrednota w niemieckiej flocie. Jego nazwa upamiętniała miejsce, w którym 4 sierpnia 1870 roku odbyła się bitwa pomiędzy siłami pruskimi a francuskimi. (pl)
- 魏森堡号战列舰（德語：SMS Weißenburg）是德意志帝国的首批远洋战列舰之一，是为纪念1870年普法战争中的胜利而命名。它是勃兰登堡级前无畏舰的第三艘，其它姊妹舰还包括有勃兰登堡号、韦尔特号和腓特烈·威廉选帝侯号。舰只于1890年5月在斯德丁的伏尔铿船厂开始，1891年下水并至1894年完工。勃兰登堡级战列舰在三座双联装炮塔中装备有六门大口径炮，而非同期其它海军所惯常采用的双炮塔四门炮标准。 在德国舰队的前十年役期中，魏森堡号跟随第一支队服役。由于19世纪末和20世纪初的国际局势相对平稳，这一时期主要局限于训练和对外国港口的友好访问。尽管如此，在第一次世界大战前的二十年里，这些训练演习对德国海军战术学说的发展有着重大意义，尤其是在阿尔弗雷德·冯·提尔皮茨的指导下。它及其姊妹舰仅有过一次重大海外部署，即义和团运动期间于1900－1901年间被派遣至中国。舰只于1904－1905年期间进行了大规模的现代化改造。 (zh)
