Alan Rhodes (born c. 1947) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and coached in the 1980s. He played at club level for Featherstone Rovers (Heritage No. 482), Castleford (Heritage No. 566), York (captain), Doncaster (Heritage No. 454), and the Sheffield Eagles, as a prop, or second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums, and coached at club level for Doncaster, and the Sheffield Eagles.
