- La glacera de Hintertux (en alemany Hintertuxer Gletscher) és el nom turístic de les glaceres del Gefrorene-Wand-Kees, també anomenades Tuxer Ferner, i Riepenkees properes a la part superior del Tuxertal, una vall lateral del Zillertal, Tirol, Àustria. A ambdues glaceres s'hi accedeix mitjançant telecadires i és una de les dues estacions d'esquí del món que ofereixen la possibilitat de practicar disciplines alpines 365 dies a l'any (l'altra és Zermatt a Suïssa). El punt més elevat de la glacera és l'Olperer que té 3.476 m. S'arriba amb telecadira fins als 3.250 m. Les pistes tenen 225 km i els telecadires són 62. Un especial atractiu anomenat Circuit de la glacera consisteix en un recorregut de 72 km i de 15.000 m de desnivell acumulat. El nom Hintertux es refereix també al llogaret que es troba als peus de la glacera. (ca)
- Hintertux je rakouský ledovec na konci údolí v Zillertalských Alpách v nadmořské výšce 1 500 – 3 250 m nad mořem. Na ledovci se nachází jediný rakouský lyžařský resort s celoročním provozem. Areál zahrnuje 86 km sjezdovek všech obtížností, terény s hlubokým sněhem nebo náročné sjezdovky s boulemi. Portálem Skiresort.de byl Hintertux v roce 2011 vyhlášen jako nejlepší skiareál. Od dubna do prosince je zde také adrenalinový snowpark. Po výjezdu první kabinou se lze dostat na sjezdovky, které fungují převážně v zimě. Další kabinou se lze dostat na Tuxer Fernerhaus, kde je možné se občerstvit. (cs)

Beide Gletscher sind durch 21 Bahnen und Lifte erschlossen und werden ganzjährig als Gletscherskigebiet genutzt. Wioska leży u podnóża lodowca Hintertux (ulubionego miejsca wypoczynku letniego w Austrii) i jest otoczona wysokimi górami i lodowcami. W wiosce znajdują się głównie hotele i ośrodki wypoczynkowe. Kościół Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Marii Panny wybudowano w 1952 roku. W Hintertux znajdują się najwyżej położone w Europie liczne źródła lecznicze. Na południe od Hintertux, na lodowcu, obok schroniska Spannagelhaus, znajduje się Spannagelhöhle - jaskinia Spannagel. Ma ona około 10 km długości i jest największą naturalną jaskinią w Alpach Centralnych. Można ją zwiedzać z przewodnikiem. Lodowiec Hintertux jest znanym ośrodkiem i rejonem narciarskim. Narciarstwo można uprawiać tutaj na tak zwanej Gefrorene Wand czyli "zmarzniętej ścianie" oraz częściowo na lodowcach Riepenkees. W sumie znajduje się tutaj 86 km tras, w tym 23 km tras łatwych, 47 km średnio-trudnych i 16 km trudnych. Najwyżej położone wyciągi dochodzą na wysokość 3250 m.
