- L’église de Zoodóchos Pigí ou de Zoodóchos Piyí (grec moderne : Ζωοδόχος Πηγή, « (el) ») est une église datant de la période byzantine située dans le village de , en Béotie (anciennement connu sous le nom de Dervenossálessi), faisant à l'origine partie d'un monastère. Située à environ 5 km à l'ouest du village, l'église moderne est initialement le narthex ou litê de l'église du katholikón du monastère. Le monastère n'est par ailleurs pas identifié et n'est mentionné dans aucune source ou inscription, mais le nom de « monastère de Stérna » pourrait lui être attribué. D'autre part, il est possible que ce monastère soit le même que le monastère de la , mentionné dans l'hagiographie de , auquel cas il daterait de la fin du XIe siècle. Du point de vue architectural, il est daté de la fin du XIIe siècle. Le katholikón, dont les fondations subsistent encore, est une église à croix inscrite avec dôme, comprenant trois absides semi-circulaires, ainsi qu'une décoration du sol en marbre incrusté de motifs géométriques très semblables à ceux de l'église voisine d'Ósios Loukás. Le katholikón s'effondre vers 1890, et le narthex est transformé en l'église actuelle. Le narthex est approximativement de forme octogonale, avec quatre voûtes centrales en croix et des niches dans les coins. Du reste du monastère, seules subsistent des parties des murs d'enceinte et, au nord, les fondations des bains du monastère, datant du XIIIe siècle. (fr)
- The Church of Zoodochos Pigi (Greek: Ζωοδόχος Πηγή, "Life-giving Spring") is a Byzantine-era church in the village of Pyli, Boeotia (formerly known as Dervenosalesi), originally part of a monastery. Located some 5 km west of the village, the modern church was originally the narthex or lite of the katholikon church of a monastery. The monastery is otherwise unidentified and is not mentioned in any source or inscription, but the name "Monastery of Sterna" may be applicable to it. On the other hand, it is possible that this monastery is the same as the Monastery to the Theometor mentioned in the hagiography of Meletius the Younger, in which case it dates to the end of the 11th century. On stylistic grounds, it has been dated to the late 12th century. The katholikon, whose foundations survive, was a cross-in-square domed church with three semicircular apses, and sported a floor decoration by inlaid marble in geometric patterns very similar to the nearby Church of Hosios Loukas. The katholikon collapsed ca. 1890, and the narthex was transformed into the current church. The narthex is roughly octagonal, with four crosswise central vaults and niches in the corners. From the rest of the monastery, only portions of the surrounding walls and, to the north, the foundations of the monastery baths, datable to the 13th century, survive. (en)
