- Železniční trať Monmouth – Chepstow (anglicky též Wye Valley Railway – železnice údolím Wye) byla normálněrozchodná železniční trať ve Spojeném království. Nacházela se v hrabstvích Monmouthshire a Gloucestershire, byla dlouhá 24 kilometrů a vedla Monmouthu do Chepstowu. Vedla převážně údolím řeky Wye, byla otevřena 1. listopadu 1876 nezávislou společností. Finančně se jí ale nedařilo a v roce 1905 se stala součástí Great Western Railway. Ta provozovala trať až do roku 1947, kdy došlo k znárodnění železnic v Británii. Pak byla trať provozována státní společností British Rail až do roku 1964, kdy byla uzavřena. Osobní vlaky tu přitom přestaly jezdit už 5. ledna 1959. Jižní část tratě od k Wye Valley Junction byla pak dále používána ještě do roku 1981 a o něco kratší část jen k Dayhouse Quarry (blízko stanice ) byla v provozu až do devadesátých let. Úsek mezi Chepstowem a Tinternem je dnes ve vlastnictví neziskové organizace změřené na prosazování udržitelné dopravy. Ta se zde chystá vybudovat cyklostezku. (cs)
- The Wye Valley Railway was a standard gauge railway that ran for nearly 15 miles (24 km) along the Lower Wye Valley between the towns of Chepstow and Monmouth, crossing several times between Wales and England. Opened on 1 November 1876, it was leased to, and worked by, the Great Western Railway (GWR), before being fully absorbed by the GWR in 1905. The line was built with the hope of becoming part of a through trunk route between Bristol and the industrial Midlands, a development which never took place. Although tourism provided some new passenger business in the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, the line's income was always weak. After nationalisation, British Railways reviewed its viability and withdrew the passenger service on 5 January 1959. A limited goods and mineral service continued until 1964, after which residual traffic continued on the southern end of the route to Tintern Quarry, until 1981, and Dayhouse Quarry, near Tidenham, until 1990.
