- Tsjalling Hiddes Halbertsma (Grou, Boarnsterhim, 21 de gener de 1792 - 12 de desembre de 1852) fou un escriptor i filòleg frisó, germà de Joast i Eeltsje Hiddes Halbertsma. Continuà amb el negoci de grans del seu pare, i fou un comerciant ric i influent. Usà el pseudònim Master Jouke i amb els seus germans fou un dels impulsors de la literatura frisona moderna. El 1832 va patrocinar l'edició del diar De Roeker i col·laborà amb els seus germans en la redacció de les Roimen te Teltsjes. Va morir a causa d'un hematoma per dislocament de l'espatlla a causa d'una caiguda. (ca)

[ˈcalɪŋ ˈɦɪdəs ˈɦalbǝrtsma]) (Grou, 21 January 1792 – there, 12 December 1852), was a Dutch Frisian writer, poet and merchant, and the least well-known of the three Brothers Halbertsma. During his life he won a certain amount of fame in and around Grou, for the poems and short stories he wrote, and also because of his success as a businessman. After his death some of his literary works were collected with those of his brothers Justus and Eeltsje to be published in 1871 as the famous Rimen en Teltsjes. It was only from 1918 onwards that more of Tsjalling Halbertsma's works were added to this collection. (en)
