- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (Tom Clancy Reconocimiento Fantasma) es un videojuego perteneciente al género de disparos táctico desarrollado por la empresa Ubisoft Red Storm y distribuido por Ubisoft. Es el primer videojuego de la serie Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, estrenado en el año 2001 para Microsoft Windows, en el 2002 para PlayStation 2 y Xbox, y en el 2003 para GameCube. A diferencia de Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon no está basado en ninguno de los libros de Tom Clancy. - Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon est un jeu vidéo développé par Red Storm Entertainment, une filiale d'Ubisoft, puis édité par Ubisoft en 2001 pour Windows initialement. Il a ensuite été porté pour Mac, Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, N-Gage et enfin sur Wii. Une version sur Game Boy Advance était prévue, mais le projet fut annulé. Le jeu a été dirigé par Tom Clancy, mais n'est basé sur aucun de ses livres. Le 1er septembre 2007 et les jours qui ont suivi, la version PC du jeu a été gratuitement distribuée par Ubisoft (mais en incluant des publicités), via un téléchargement libre et gratuit, pour peu de posséder un compte Ubi.com basé aux États-Unis. Cependant, l'installation n'est plus possible à partir du 6 septembre 2007. La dernière mise à jour est la version 1.4 qui date du 23 août 2002. Le succès de Ghost Recon a permis de créer trois extensions : Desert Siege, Island Thunder et Jungle Storm. Le succès du jeu a également permis de lancer la série Ghost Recon pour consoles et ordinateur. (fr)
