- La théorie du cycle texte-conversation, dans le champ de la , montre comment la communication constitue l’organisation. Dans sa plus simple expression, elle stipule qu’une organisation est créée et définie par la communication. La communication « est » l’organisation et l’organisation existe parce qu’une communication existe. Ainsi, la théorie est construite sur l’idée qu’une organisation n’est pas à voir comme une unité physique qui « contiendrait » la communication. La théorie texte et conversation place donc les processus de communication au cœur de la communication d’organisation et postule qu’une organisation ne « contient » pas la communication qui en serait alors conséquente mais, au contraire, est formée par la communication qui y prend place. Elle n'a pas pour vocation une application directe. La théorie comprend un modèle permettant de mieux comprendre la communication dans un contexte d’organisation. Considérant la communication comme le fondement d'une organisation, l'organisation est le résultat de communications entre individus discutant de croyances, d'objectifs, de structures, de plans et de relations. - Teori teks dan percakapan adalah teori yang berasal dari cabang ilmu komunikasi yang memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana sebuah organisasi terbentuk karena adanya komunikasi. Secara sederhana, komunikasi menjadi penentu bagaimana sebuah organisasi itu dibentuk. Komunikasi menjadi bagian dalam organisasi sebab tanpa adanya komunikasi organisasi tidak akan terbentuk. Teori teks dan percakapan menempatkan inti dari komunikasi dan hal ini bersifat potsulat atau berupa asumsi dalil yang keberannya tidak perlu dibuktikan. Proses komunikasi yang dapat membentuk sebuah organisasi berdasarkan teori teks dan percakapan bukan hanya terbentuk atas dasar pengaruh kausalatif namun organisasi terbentuk oleh komunikasi yang dibangun secara mendalam baik secara individu antar individu maupun kelompok dengan kelompok. Teori ini tidak diciptakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana komunikasi itu ada. Teori ini memberikan kerangka kerja untuk pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang komunikasi organisasi. Komunikasi adalah fondasi sebuah organisasi. Sebab tanpa adanya komunikasi, organisasi tidak akan pernah ada. Sebab organisasi dapat definisikan juga sebagai hasil dari porses komunikasi apapun konteksnya. Hal ini bermula dari satu individu yang mendiskusikan tujuan, keyakinan, rencana serta ide-ide lainnya.
