- معبد الشمس كان معبدًا مصريًا قديمًا مكرسًا لعبادة إله الشمس رع، بناه الفرعون أوسركاف مؤسس الأسرة الخامسة في مصر في بداية القرن الخامس والعشرين قبل الميلاد. يقع معبد الشمس بين جنوب أهرامات أبوصير وشمال مدينة أبو غراب على بعد حوالي 15 كم (9.3 ميل) جنوب مدينة القاهرة. كان الاسم القديم للمعبد «نخن رع» والذي يعني «معقل رع». يتكون مجمع المعبد من عدة أجزاء أهمها المعبد الرئيسي المبني على تل منخفض يقع على حافة الصحراء، ويمكن الوصول إليه عبر جسر من معبد وادي يقع بالقرب من منطقة الزراعة ونهر النيل. - Das Sonnenheiligtum des Userkaf ist ein in Abusir gelegenes altägyptisches Tempel-Bauwerk aus der Zeit der 5. Dynastie, welches unter dem König (Pharao) Userkaf erbaut wurde, der etwa von 2500 bis 2490 v. Chr. regierte. Es ist neben dem Sonnenheiligtums des Niuserre das einzige der insgesamt sechs Exemplare dieses Tempeltyps, welches bisher archäologisch nachgewiesen wurde. (de)

Il fait partie de la vaste nécropole memphite où les rois de la Ve dynastie se firent bâtir des temples solaires. Ce temple solaire, premier à être construit selon les sources, a été bâti sous le règne d'Ouserkaf, premier roi de la Ve dynastie, avant d'être considérablement remanié par ses successeurs. (fr)
- The Sun Temple of Userkaf was an ancient Egyptian temple dedicated to the sun god Ra built by pharaoh Userkaf, the founder of the Fifth Dynasty of Egypt, at the beginning of the 25th century BCE. The sun temple of Userkaf lies between the Abusir pyramid field to the south and the locality of Abu Gorab to the north, some 15 km (9.3 mi) south of modern-day Cairo. The ancient name of the temple was Nekhen-Re meaning the "Stronghold of Ra". The temple complex comprised several parts: on a low hill situated on the desert edge was the main temple which could be accessed via a causeway from a valley temple, located nearer to the area of cultivation and the Nile.
