- معسكر أرامكو السعودية السكني في الظهران والمعروف من قبل سكانه باسم كامب الظهران هو منطقة سكنية بنيت من قبل شركة أرامكو السعودية لموظفيها. تقع داخل مدينة الظهران في المنطقة الشرقية في المملكة العربية السعودية. هناك نوعان من المناطق المعترف بها من قبل سكان كامب الظهران حيث أن الأول بني لأول مرة في بداية عمل الشركة وهو الجزء الأقدم والأكثر هدوء نسبيا حيث أن معظم المحلات التجارية والحدائق هي في منطقة أخرى تعرف باسم تلال (هيلز). المعسكر السكني في الظهران غير مسيج ويسمح فقط لموظفي أرامكو وعائلاتهم بالعيش فيه. يقع بالقرب من القنصلية الأمريكية وكذلك القاعدة الجوية العسكرية في الظهران والذي يقع في المنطقة التي كانت سابقا محطة جوية محلية ودولية للمنطقة الشرقية. منذ ذلك الحين تم نقل كافة عمليات نقل الركاب الجوية التجارية إلى مطار الملك فهد الدولي في الدمام. معسكر الظهران أحد ثلاثة مجمعات تابع للشركة في شرق البلاد جنبا إلى جنب مع مخيمات في رأس تنورة (مصفاة وميناء) وبقيق. في وقت لاحق تم بناء مجمعات أرامكو السعودية الأخرى مثل العضيلية والسفانية وطناجب. في الآونة الأخيرة أنشأت الشركة المناطق السكنية في مختلف المدن السعودية الأخرى بما في ذلك الجبيل وينبع وجدة ورابغ وغيرها وإن لم تحتوي على معسكرات سكنية للشركة. كان معسكر الظهران أول مجمع سكني للشركة التي تأسست في أواخر الثلاثينات القرن العشرين ولا يزال الأكبر مع مساحة لاستيعاب أكثر من 11 ألف نسمة. تمشيا مع القوى العاملة للشركة العامة فإن السكان هم خليط من جنسيات مختلفة. تتكون المدينة من ثلاثة أقسام رئيسية وهي: «المعسكر الرئيسي» (أقدم قسم) في الظهران والظهران هيلز والرابية الجديدة (منطقة إسكان تنفيذية). - El Campamento Residencial de Saudi Aramco en Dhahran (en en inglés: Saudi Aramco Residential Camp in Dhahran), conocido por sus habitantes como el Campamento Dhahran (en inglés: Dhahran Camp), es la comunidad residencial construida por la compañía petrolera saudí Saudi Aramco para sus empleados. Se encuentra dentro de la ciudad de Dhahran, en la provincia oriental de Arabia Saudita. Hay dos áreas reconocidas por los habitantes en el campamento Dhahran. El primero construido se conoce como Main Camp (campamento principal). Es la parte más antigua y la más concurrida, ya que contiene la mayoría de las tiendas y parques. La otra área, conocida como The Hills (las colinas), es la más tranquila ya que es principalmente residencial. En 2017, Saudi Aramco abrió una nueva área residencial llamada Jebel Heights, que es básicamente una extensión de Dhahran Hills y una expansión para todo el campamento. El campamento residencial de Dhahran es una Urbanización cerrada en la que solo pueden vivir empleados de Saudi Aramco y sus familiares. - Saudi Aramco Residential Camp in Dhahran is a residential community built by Saudi Aramco for its employees to live in. It is located within the city of Dhahran (Arabic: الظهران) in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. There are three areas recognized by the inhabitants in the Dhahran camp. The first built is known as the Main Camp. It is the oldest part and the busiest as it contains most of the shops/parks. The second area, known as the Hills, is the quietest since it is mostly residential and more family friendly. In 2017, a new residential area was opened by Saudi Aramco and named which is an extension of the entire camp. The Dhahran residential camp is a fenced-in company compound and only Saudi Aramco employees and their dependents may live inside. It is located near the US consulate as well as the Dhahran military airbase, which is located in an area that formerly housed the domestic and international air terminals for the Eastern Province. All commercial air passenger operations have since been moved to King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The Dhahran camp (Aramco code: DH) is one of three original expatriate oil company compounds or "districts" in the east of the country, along with the camps in Ras Tanura (refinery and port), and Abqaiq (also Buqayq). Later, other Saudi Aramco compounds were built, such as Udhailiyah, , and Tanajib. More recently, the company established housing areas in various other Saudi cities including Jubail, Yanbu, Jeddah, and Rabigh among others - though not all of these are self-contained company compounds. Dhahran camp was the first company compound, founded in the late 1930s, and is still the largest, with space to accommodate over 11,000 residents. In line with the make up of the overall company workforce, the residents are a mixture of many different nationalities. The town consists of four main divisions: Dhahran "main camp" (the oldest section), Dhahran Hills, Jebel Heights, and the newer Ar-Rabiyah (Executive Housing Area). (en)
