The Risc PC (codenamed Medusa) was Acorn Computers's next generation RISC OS/Acorn RISC Machine computer, launched in 1994, which superseded the Acorn Archimedes. Like the Archimedes, the Risc PC continued the practice of having the RISC OS operating system in a ROM module. Risc PC augmented the ROM-based core OS with a disk-based directory structure containing configuration information, and some applications which had previously been kept in ROM.

Wie sein Vorgänger, der Acorn Archimedes, besitzt er eine ARM-CPU, als Betriebssystem wird RISC OS in Version 3.5 oder neuer verwendet. Der erste Risc PC wurde 1994 mit einem ARM610-Prozessor vorgestellt, der mit 30 MHz getaktet war; ein Jahr später erschien ein Modell mit ARM710 (40 MHz). 1996 war der deutlich schnellere StrongARM-Prozessor für den Risc PC verfügbar. Die Risc-PC-Serie war in vieler Hinsicht durchdacht: Eine Basisversion des Betriebssystems ist in austauschbaren ROM-Bausteinen gespeichert, so dass der Rechner auch ohne Festplatte gestartet werden kann. Das System besitzt zwei Slots für Prozessor-Steckkarten, was es ermöglicht, problemlos auf neuere Prozessoren aufzurüsten und z. B. als Zweit-CPU einen Intel-Prozessor einzusetzen, um diesen als "eingebetteten PC" zu betreiben. Das Gehäuse ist schraubenfrei, modular aufgebaut und sehr leicht zu warten. Der offizielle Risc-PC-Nachfolger "Phoebe" wurde von Acorn nie fertiggestellt. Im Jahre 2000 erschien der Kinetic Risc PC mit StrongARM, RISC OS 4 und Speicher auf der CPU-Karte.
