- Rhye's and Fall of Civilization es un mod perteneciente al juego Civilization IV. Es un mod basado en un mapa del mundo que intenta hacer que la partida para un jugador sea una simulación realista de la historia de la Tierra. Es la secuela de "Rhye's of Civilization", uno de los mods más populares de Civilization III. Hay variantes de este mod para poder jugar con un mapa aleatorio (Rhye's and Fall of Civilization RAND) o multijugador (Rhye's and Fall of Civilization MP). Está traducido al castellano entre otros idiomas. El mod gira en torno al auge y caída históricos de las civilizaciones: no empezarán todas al mismo tiempo, sino en las fechas precisas. A menos que se escoja una civilización de las iniciales (China o Babilonia por ejemplo) el jugador espera a que el ordenador juegue la partida hasta el año de aparición de su civilización. Las civilizaciones pueden caer por muchos factores, incluyendo las guerras civiles causadas por la inestabilidad interna y los ataques bárbaros. (es)
- Rhye's and Fall of Civilization (RFC) is a "fan scenario" (mod) for the 2005 computer game Sid Meier's Civilization IV. It is an 'Earth simulator' that uses a variety of scripted events to mirror history much more closely than a typical game of Civilization. The name of the scenario references its core feature—the dynamic "Rise and Fall" of civilizations through time—and its creator, Gabriele Trovato, known as "Rhye" in the forums community. A version of the scenario was included in the second official expansion pack, Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword. It is the second most popular Civilization IV mod (after Fall from Heaven 2) by number of downloads on Civilization Fanatics Center, a large Civilization fan website. (en)
