- راو (باليابانية: ラオウ) هو شخصية افتراضية والزعيم الأعظم للقوة الاستبدادية في العالم، وهو من ضمن شخصيات الفيلم اللإنمي الشهير قبضة نجم الشمال، وهو واحد من الأشقاء الأربعة في بيت معلمه والذين ينتمون للمدرسة هوكتو نوكين ((قبضة نجم الشمال الشهيرة)) وهو الأخ الأصغر لوريث الهوكتو ريوكين كايو أقوى شرير في إنمي الذي سيظهر في الجزء الثاني كان الوريث الوحيد لتلك القوة هو توكي ((أحد أشقاء كينشيرو)) وكان له الأحق أن يرث بتلك المدرسة، ولكن بعد الضربة النووية تأثر توكي بالأشعة النووية، وقرر التنازل عن الوريث للمدرسة، بما أن المعلم يخير بين البطل كينيشرو وبين خصمه شقيقه راو ((الأخوة بالانتساب وليس بالنسب))، فقرر راو بعد استعراض القوة انه يسيطر على الكرة الأرضية، وهذا يظل تهديد لمستقبل السلام، واما كينيشرو فهو رجل يسعى لنشر الخير، فاختار المعلم كينشيرو ان يكون الوريث للقوة وللمدرسة، فقرر راو أن يقتل معلمه. بينما تحقق راو أن يكون القوة المستبدة في العالم، وكينيشرو يسعى للحد من استمرار حكمه على الشعب بالحديد والنار.راو الذي يمتطي حصانا أسود عملاق سمّاه كوكو لرّعد الأسود و هو عدة لا ينزل عن حصانه إلا بتواجد توكي الذي يعتبره هو الوحيد الذي يستحق أن ينزل من حصانه و راو الذي لقب نفسه KEN-OH ) أو ملك القبضات استطاع كينشير قتله وأنها المأساة بعد أن تسلل الخوف إلى قلبه. - Raoh (ラオウ, Raō) surnommé Ken'Oh, le roi du poing, est un personnage du manga Ken le survivant. Il est un des quatre disciples de Ryûken. Il mesure 2,10 m et pèse 145 kilos. Il est le plus âgé des quatre frères du Hokuto Shinken. Malgré sa grande force, il ne sera pas désigné héritier du style à cause de sa trop grande soif de pouvoir. Il ne tentera pas de ravir le titre d'héritier du Hokuto Shinken à Kenshirô mais il parcourra le monde afin de maîtriser une à une les différentes techniques d'autres maîtres afin de surpasser l'héritier. Car Raoh n'a qu'une seule ambition, celle d'être l'homme le plus fort du monde. C'est au moment où il pensa être le plus fort qu'il affrontera Kenshirô et mourra. Sa mort marquera la fin de la première époque de Ken le survivant. C'est un homme ambitieux et conquérant qui n'hésite pas à tuer pour assouvir sa soif de conquête mais il possède néanmoins certaines valeurs nobles que beaucoup d'autres méchants de la série n'ont pas. He is the eldest of four honorary brothers (including the protagonist Kenshiro) who trained in the ancient assassination art of Hokuto Shinken. Following his introduction in Chapter 42 of the original manga, Raoh serves as Kenshiro's primary rival and adversary during a great portion of the series, being in the case, the main antagonist of Fist of the North Star, having already taken the mantle of Ken-oh (拳王, Ken'ō, Fist King), a tyrannical warlord that seeks to dominate the post-apocalyptic world. In contrast to Kenshiro's title as the "Savior of Century's End", Raoh is commonly referred as the Supreme Ruler of the Century's End (世紀末覇者, Seikimatsu Hasha) within the story. Raoh figures prominently throughout the remainder of the manga following the conclusion of his story arc and would continue serving as a central character in related works published following the conclusion of the original manga and its anime adaptation. He serves as a central character in The Legends of the True Savior movie series and was the protagonist in his own spinoff manga and anime series Legends of the Dark King. (en)

Secondo Hara, il design del personaggio è principalmente basato sull'attore Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner. Raoul è il maggiore di quattro fratelli adottivi, tra cui è incluso anche il protagonista Kenshiro, addestrati in un'antica arte marziale assassina chiamata Sacra Scuola di Hokuto. Guidato dalla sua inesauribile forza e orgoglio, Raoul aspira a conquistare e a regnare sul mondo postapocalittico in cui si svolge la storia, conferendosi il titolo di Re di Hokuto (拳王 Ken'ō?) e sfidando ogni combattente che considera una minaccia.
