- Das Valle de Punilla ist ein Tal in den östlichen Sierras de Córdoba im zentralen Argentinien (Provinz Córdoba). Es erstreckt sich über rund 100 Kilometer in Nord-Süd-Richtung und ist eines der Haupt-Fremdenverkehrszentren des Landes (ca. 2,5 Millionen Besucher im Jahr). Den Namen Punilla gaben die von Peru kommenden Spanier dem Tal vermutlich, da die im Westen gelegenen Hochebenen, die sogenannten Pampas Serranas, sie an die in den Zentralanden liegende Hochfläche der Puna erinnerten. Eine andere Deutung leitet den Namen von einem Buschgewächs ab, das den Namen punilla trägt und im Tal häufig vorkommt. (de)

- The Punilla Valley (Spanish: Valle de Punilla) is a broad fluvial valley in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. It is located in the center-northwest of the province, bordered by the Sierras Chicas in the east and the Sierras Grandes and the Pampa Achala in the west, oriented from north to south. In the southern part of the valley lies the San Roque Lake, fed mainly by the San Antonio River and the Cosquín River. The most important tourist location in Córdoba, the city of Villa Carlos Paz, is located on the southern shore of San Roque lake, though the valley is known for a number of other scenic towns, including Cruz del Eje, Capilla del Monte, La Cumbre, La Falda, Valle Hermoso, and Cosquín. The and were completed within the valley in 1943 and 1979, respectively, to address the area's water and flood control needs, and have since become important recreational areas in their own right. - La valle di Punilla è un'ampia valle fluviale argentina, nella provincia di Córdoba. Essa si trova nella zona centro-nord-ovest della provincia, delimitata dalle Sierras Chicas ad est e dalle Sierras Grandes e dalla ad ovest; la valle è orientata da nord a sud e nella sua parte meridionale vi è il lago artificiale San Roque, alimentato dai fiumi San Antonio e Cosquín. Votata prevalentemente al turismo, la valle ha il suo centro più turisticamente rinomato in Villa Carlos Paz, città sita sul bordo meridionale del Lago San Roque. La valle stessa è nota tuttavia anche per altre città scenografiche fra le quali: Cruz del Eje, Capilla del Monte, , La Falda, e Cosquín. I due bacini artificiali di Cruz del Eje e La Falda, completati rispettivamente nel 1943 e nel 1979 per rifornire d'acqua la zona e per disciplinare il fluire delle acque, sono divenuti essi stessi una fonte di ricreazione e quindi attrattiva turistica.
