- موانئ المشرق (بالفرنسية: Les Échelles du Levant) هي رواية نشرت عام 1991 للكاتب الفرنسي اللبناني أمين معلوف، وتحكي قصة زوجين رجل مسلم وامرأة يهودية، عصيان وكلارا" اللذين انفصلا بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية. تركّز الرواية على الجانب الإنساني في قصّة عصيان، الذي يحاول الهرب من سيطرة والده، وينضم للمقاومة الفرنسيّة الحرّة، ثم يعشق متجاوزًا الانتماءات المسبقة، إلا أن حياته تتعثر. تبتعد الرواية عن تقديم أية مواقف أو خطابات سياسية أو فكرية، متمحورةً حول الإنسان، حبه، حزنه، ألمه، وفرحه، مؤكّدةً أنه رغم اليأس والعقبات التي تعترض طريقنا أحيانًا إلا أن الأمل يبقى في تجاوز ذلك كلّه ومتابعة الحياة. The narrative follows a married couple consisting of a Muslim man and a Jewish woman, Ossyane and Clara, who become separated after World War II. Il raconte les aventures d'Ossyane, musulman né dans les dernières années de l'Empire ottoman, qui vient en France pour ses études et s'engage dans la Résistance pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. À la Libération, il épouse Clara, une jeune juive, également Résistante, avec qui il a une fille avant que le conflit israélo-palestinien ne le sépare de sa famille. Le titre du roman fait référence aux échelles du Levant, comptoirs français au Proche-Orient établis au XVIe siècle et sur lesquels le sultan ottoman avait concédé son autorité juridique et commerciale.
