- شفط الحيوانات المنوية من البربخ عن طريق الجلد (PESA) هو تقنية تستخدم لتحديد عدد الحيوانات المنوية في حالة حدوث انسداد محتمل في الأسهر. وهو بديل عن شفط الحيوانات المنوية الدقيقة (MESA) ، ويهدف إلى معالجة الصعوبة الفنية وتكلفة MESA. يتم إدخال إبرة صغيرة عبر جلد كيس الصفن لجمع الحيوانات المنوية من البربخ ، حيث يتم تخزين الحيوانات المنوية عادة بعد إنتاجها في الخصيتين. كما يمكن استخدامه لاستخراج الحيوانات المنوية من أجل حقن الحيوانات المنوية داخل الهيولى (الحقن المجهري). - Percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (PESA) is a technique used to determine sperm counts in the event of a possible blockage of the vas deferens. It is an alternative to (MESA), and aims to address the technical difficulty and cost of MESA. A small needle is inserted through the skin of the scrotum to collect sperm from the epididymis, where sperm are usually stored after production in the testes. It can also be used to extract sperm for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). (en)
