- Patrizia Nanz (* 9. Juli 1965 in Stuttgart) ist eine deutsche Politikwissenschaftlerin und Expertin für Demokratie, beteiligende Verwaltung und Nachhaltigkeit. Sie ist seit dem 1. Februar 2021 Vizepräsidentin des Bundesamtes für die Sicherheit der nuklearen Entsorgung (BASE). Dort leitet sie zudem das von ihr ins Leben gerufene Laboratorium Beteiligende Verwaltung. Die Innovationseinheit berät und unterstützt bei ressortübergreifenden Kollaborationsprozessen, komplexen Beteiligungsverfahren und fördert abteilungsübergreifende, interdisziplinäre und agile Arbeitsweisen innerhalb der öffentlichen Verwaltung. Des Weiteren ist sie Gründungsdirektorin des Deutsch-Französischen Zukunftswerks, das durch den am 22. Januar 2020 in Kraft getretenen Vertrag von Aachen etabliert worden ist. Zuvor war sie von April 2016 bis Januar 2021 wissenschaftliche Direktorin am Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) und Professorin für transformative Nachhaltigkeitswissenschaft an der Universität Potsdam. Patrizia Nanz war von 2017 bis 2021 außerdem Ko-Vorsitzende der Wissenschaftsplattform Nachhaltigkeit 2030, deren Geschäftsstelle am IASS angesiedelt war. Im Januar 2019 wurde sie vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) zum Mitglied im Hightech-Forum berufen, welches die Bundesregierung zur Hightech-Strategie 2025 berät. Von 2013 bis 2016 war sie Leiterin des Forschungsbereichs PartizipationsKultur am Kulturwissenschaftlichen Institut Essen (KWI). In 2005 erhielt sie eine Vollprofessur an der Universität Bremen. Además, es codirectora de la Agencia Franco-Alemana del Futuro , que fue fundada el 22 de enero de 2020 y se decidió en el Tratado de Aquisgrán Antes de eso, de abril de 2016 a enero de 2021 fue Directora Científica en el Instituto de Estudios Avanzados de Sostenibilidad (IASS) y Profesora de desde 2017 hasta finales de 2020. Patrizia Nanz también fue copresidenta de Science Platform Sustainability 2030, cuya oficina se encuentra en el IASS. En enero de 2019 fue nombrada por el Ministerio Federal de Educación e Investigación (BMBF) como miembro del Foro de Alta Tecnología, que asesora al gobierno alemán sobre la Estrategia de Alta Tecnología 2025. - Patrizia Nanz (born 9 July 1965 in Stuttgart, Germany) is a political scientist and an expert in public participation and . She has provided expertise to businesses, state agencies, and governments in various European countries. She was appointed Vice-President of Germany’s Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BASE) on 1 February 2021, where she also leads the Collaborative Governance Lab (CO:LAB). She currently serves on the board of trustees of the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). Until 2021, Patrizia Nanz was scientific director of the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) in Potsdam; professor of transformative sustainability studies at the University of Potsdam; and co-chair of the Science Platform Sustainability 2030, an interdisciplinary platform for research and dialogue to support implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Germany. She is founding director of the Deutsch-Französisches Zukunftswerk (Franco-German Forum for the Future), established under the Aachen Treaty. In January 2019 she was appointed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as a member of the High-Tech Forum, which advised the German government on its High-Tech Strategy 2025 until 2021. Since 2002 she has held a professorship in political theory at the University of Bremen. From 2013 to 2016, Patrizia Nanz was head of the research area "Culture of Participation" at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) in Essen. She is the founder of the European Institute for Public Participation (EIPP) and in 2009 was a co-founder of Participedia, a global collaborative wiki platform for democratic innovations. She was a member of the Scientific Committee of the World Forum for Democracy, hosted annually by the Council of Europe. Her main areas of research are public participation and sustainability transformations (climate change, biotechnology, energy transition, final storage of nuclear waste), democratic theory (transnational governance and the European integration), open government and innovation of administration.
