- سجن عوفر (بالعبرية:כלא עופר) سجن إسرائيلي تابع لمصلحة السجون الإسرائيلية مقام على أراضي بلدة بيتونيا وأراضي قرية رافات ا الفلسطينيتين غرب مدينة رام الله، مخصص للسجناء الأمنيين الفلسطينيين وقد أنشئ هذا السجن في فترة الانتداب البريطاني ويطلق عليه السجناء اسم «جوانتانامو» أو«الأحمر» نظراً لسوء الأحوال فيه، ويحتوي على خيام كل خيمة من خيامه 20 سجين، ويتسع لنحو 1500 سجين. كان السجن بالأصل تابعاً للأردن وسيطرت عليه إسرائيل في حرب 1967. في يناير 2003 هرب اثنيين من السجناء من الأمن بعدما قطعوا سياج السجن، ولم يتم القبض عليهم. وفي 12 أيار 2003 هرب 4 سجناء من خلال حفر نفق تحت الجدران الاستنادية المحيطة بالسجن، تم القبض على أحدهم وهرب الآخرين باتجاه رام الله، وأعلنت حركة الجهاد الإسلامي في فلسطين وصول السجناء إليها بسلام وحمايتهم. - La cárcel de Ofer (en hebreo, כלא עופר: כלא עופר, Kele Ofer), cuyo anterior nombre oficial era Centro de Encarcelamiento 385 (מתקן כליאה 385), es un centro de encarcelamiento israelí (מתקן כליאה mitkan kli'un, abbr.Matak) ubicado en Cisjordania, entre Beitunia (Ramala) y Giv'en Ze'ev. Es una de las tres instalaciones de este tipo a disposición de Israel, junto con el de Megiddo y el de Ktzi'ot. El Servicio de Prisiones de Israel administra tanto la cárcel de Ofer como las de Meggido y Ktzi'ot, encontrándose disponibles para ser usados por el ejército de Israel y por su policía militar. Mientras permaneció bajo control del ejército tenía una capacidad de hasta 800 prisioneros, tanto los ya juzgados como los que se hayan bajo detención administrativa. Matak) located in the West Bank, between Ramallah/Beituniya and Giv'at Ze'ev. It is one of three facilities of the same nature, including the and Ktzi'ot prisons, the latter two located in Israel and not in the West Bank. Ofer Prison is run by the Israel Prison Service and like the other two facilities, used to be operated by the Israel Defense Forces' Military Police Corps. When under IDF control, it was capable of holding up to 800 prisoners, both tried and those under administrative detention. As of September 2016, it holds about 1,250 Palestinian prisoners. (en)
- De Ofer gevangenis/Ofer Prison (Hebreeuws: כלא עופר, Kele Ofer), formeel en officieel bekend als Incarceration Facility 385 (מתקן כליאה 385), is een Israëlische penitentiaire inrichting gevestigd op de bezette Westelijke Jordaanoever tussen Ramallah/Beitunia en de Israëlische nederzetting Giv'at Ze'ev ten noorden van Jeruzalem. Deze gevangenis heeft eenzelfde karakter als de ten noorden van Jenin gelegen gevangenis en de gevangenis in de Negev. De Ofer gevangenis wordt operationeel gebruikt door het Militaire Politie (MP) Corps van het Israëlische defensieleger. De gevangenis is berucht vanwege beweerde folterpraktijken tegen de daar gedetineerde Palestijnen, waaronder 100 kinderen in 2015. (nl)
