- Der Newcomer-Gletscher ist ein 30 km langer Gletscher im westantarktischen Ellsworthland. Er durchschneidet den nördlichen Teil der Sentinel Range des Ellsworthgebirges und fließt zunächst in südöstlicher Richtung aus dem Gebiet nahe dem Allen Peak. Später wendet er sich nach Osten und verlässt die Sentinel Range nördlich des Bracken Peak. Das Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names benannte ihn 1961 nach Loyd Edward Newcomer (1918–2003), der als Pilot der Flugstaffel VX-6 der United States Navy zwischen dem 14. und 15. Dezember 1959 an Flügen über die Sentinel Range zur Erstellung von Luftaufnahmen tätig war. (de)

- Il ghiacciaio Newcomer (in inglese: Newcomer Glacier) è un ghiacciaio lungo circa 37 km situato sulla costa di Zumberge, nella parte occidentale della Terra di Ellsworth, in Antartide. In particolare, il ghiacciaio, il cui punto più alto si trova a circa 1.600 m s.l.m., si trova nella parte settentrionale della dorsale Sentinella, nelle Montagne di Ellsworth. Qui, esso fluisce a partire dalle vicinanze del dirigendosi dapprima verso sud-est scorrendo tra le , a est, e la catena principale della dorsale, a ovest, e poi verso est, passando tra l'estremità meridionale delle cime Gromshin e quella settentrionale delle , fino ad uscire dalla dorsale a nord del e a sud dello .
