- حزب الجبهة الوطنية الديمقراطية في إيران هو حزب سياسي يساري ليبرالي تأسس أثناء الثورة الإيرانية التي اندلعت عام 1979 وأطاحت بالشاه محمد رضا بهلوي، وقامت الحكومة الإسلامية بحظره بعدها بوقت قصير. وقد تأسس الحزب على يد هداية الله متين دفتري، حفيد الزعيم الإيراني المشهور محمد مصدق و«المحامي الذي عُرف بنشاطه في قضايا حقوق الإنسان» قبل سقوط الشاه. وعلى الرغم من أن هذا الحزب لم يستمر لوقتٍ طويل، إلا أنه وُصف بأنه أحد «الحركات الرئيسية الثلاث في الوسط السياسي» في إيران في ذلك الوقت، وكانت الإطاحة بهذا الحزب من أولى المؤشرات على أن القوى الثورية الإسلامية المهيمنة على الثورة الإيرانية لن تتسامح مع القوى السياسية الليبرالية (ar)
- Die National-Demokratische Front (persisch جبهه دموکراتیک ملی Dschebhe Demokratik Melli) des Iran ist eine 1979 während der islamischen Revolution von gegründete Partei, die dem linken Spektrum zuzurechnen ist. Hedayatollah Matin-Daftari ist der Sohn von Ahmad Matin-Daftari und Enkel von Mohammad Mossadegh. - The National Democratic Front (Persian: جبهه دموکراتیک ملی, romanized: Jebha-ye demokrātīk-e mellī) was a liberal political party founded during the Iranian Revolution of 1979 that overthrew Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and was banned within a short time by the Islamic government. It was founded by , a grandson of celebrated Iranian nationalist Mohammad Mosaddegh and a "lawyer who had been active in human rights causes" before the downfall of the shah and the son of the fourth prime minister and the jurist Ahmad Matin-Daftari. Though it was short-lived, the party has been described as one of "the three major movements of the political center" in Iran at that time, and its ouster was one of the first indications that the Islamist revolutionaries in control of the Iranian Revolution would not tolerate liberal political forces.
