- La Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover (Scuola superiore di musica, teatro e media di Hannover) è un conservatorio di musica, teatro e media fondato ad Hannover nel 1897 da . Al 2013, vi sono iscritti circa 1440 studenti, con 360 insegnanti suddivisi in 33 corsi di studio per musicisti, attori, insegnanti di musica, musicologi e pubblicisti dei media. Il conservatorio offre tutti i corsi classici di musica, con particolare enfasi sulla formazione di solisti orchestrali, attori e registi teatrali. Viene insegnata anche la musica jazz e rock nell'ambito della musica popolare, con particolare enfasi per il jazz. I programmi di studio nelle aree del pianoforte, direzione d'orchestra e musica da camera sono considerati di altissima qualità a livello internazionale. I dipartimenti di arte drammatica e opera lirica sono in stretta collaborazione con l'Opera di Hannover e l'orchestra della Norddeutscher Rundfunk. Il conservatorio organizza due produzioni annuali di opera lirica, comprese le premiere, e circa tre concerti orchestrali. Mantiene relazioni con molti conservatori nazionali e di altri paesi, in particolare con quelli della Svizzera, dell'Europa dell'Est e dell'Asia orientale. (it)

De instelling die werd opgericht in 1897 heeft gemiddeld een 1.500 studenten in 33 programma's voor de vorming van muzikanten, acteurs, muziekleerkrachten, musicologen. Mediastudies werd in 1990 aan het aanbod toegevoegd, de Medien werd in de naam van de instelling toegevoegd in 2010 waarbij verwezen wordt naar de mediastudies, maar evengoed naar de programma's journalistiek en communicatiewetenschappen. Historia uczelni sięga 1897 roku, od kiedy zaczęło działać prywatne Konserwatorium Muzyczne. W 1911 r. zmieniło nazwę na Miejskie Konserwatorium, a w 1943 na Landesmusikschule. W trakcie II wojny światowej budynek uczelni został zniszczony. W 1950 r. Landesmusikschule połączyła się z prywatną Hanowerską Szkołą Dramatyczną (Hannoversche Schauspielschule), tworząc Akademię Muzyki i Teatru (Akademie für Musik und Theater). W 1958 r. uzyskała ona status Hochschule. W latach 1962–2010 nosiła nazwę Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover, w skrócie: Musikhochschule Hannover. Od 2010 roku po kolejnej zmianie nazwy rektorem Wyższej Szkoły Muzyki, Teatru i Mediów jest . W roku 2013 uczelnia liczyła około 1443 studentów, 361 nauczycieli w 33 kursach dla muzyków, aktorów, nauczycieli muzyki, muzykologów i specjalistów od mediów muzycznych. Główny, nowoczesny budynek uczelni został zaprojektowany specjalnie na potrzeby instytucji artystycznej. Kształt budynku układa się w zarys ucha ludzkiego, który znalazł się też w logo uczelni. (pl)
