- El Mexibús es un sistema de transporte público basado en autobuses de tránsito rápido (Bus Rapid Transit o BRT, por sus siglas en inglés), impulsado desde finales de la década del 2000 hasta la fecha por el Gobierno del Estado de México. Su control y administración está a cargo del y es operado por las empresas: Transmasivo S.A. (Mexibús línea I), Transcomunicador Mexiquense, S.A. de C.V. (Mexibús línea II) y Red de Transportes de Oriente S.A. de C.V. (Mexibús línea III). Cuenta con 4 líneas que cuentan con un número y un color distintivo para cada línea. Tiene una longitud total de 79,6 kilómetros y consta de 134 estaciones. Las estaciones tienen cobertura en la Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México en los municipios de Ecatepec, Tecámac, Nezahualcóyotl, Chimalhuacán, Coacalco, Tultitlán,Tlalnepantla de Baz, Cuautitlán Izcalli y Zumpango, así como en las alcaldías Venustiano Carranza y Gustavo A.
