- Margareth "Marga" Scheide (born 15 February 1954 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Dutch singer and former model. She was a member of the girl group Luv'. Alongside Patty Brard and José Hoebee, she scored a string of international hit songs such as "You're the Greatest Lover", "Trojan Horse", "Casanova" and "Ooh, Yes I Do". She was the only Luv' singer to be involved in all the incarnations of the group. The formation went through line-up changes and the original singers reunited several times. In 2016, Marga, José and Ria Thielsch (who already replaced Patty in 1980) decided to relaunch Luv'. In July 2017, the ladies celebrated their 40th anniversary. On January 4, 2019, the group announced another line-up change in De Telegraaf: media personality Chimène van Oosterhout replaced Ria Thielsch. The renewed trio released a Latin pop-reggaeton single entitled With Him Tonight in July 2019, twenty-five years after their last album All You Need Is Luv'. On February 7th, 2020, the group's management informed that Luv' stopped all their activities due to José's ill health. In addition to Luv', Marga was active as a solo singer. On April 15th, 2022, she gave a farewell performance as a guest artist during Piv Huvluv's show in Belgium. (en)

Aux côtés de Patty Brard et José Hoebee au sein du girls band Luv', elle inscrit une série de singles à succès tels que "You're the Greatest Lover", "Trojan Horse", "Casanova" et "Ooh, Yes I Do" dans les hit parades d'une quinzaine de pays à la fin des années 1970 et au début des années 1980. Luv' a connu plusieurs changements de formations et les chanteuses d'origine se sont réunies à plusieurs reprises. Entre 1977 et 2020, Marga est la seule membre du trio pop féminin à être impliquée dans toutes les formations de Luv'. En 2016, Marga Scheide, José Hoebee et Ria Thielsch (qui avait déjà remplacé Patty Brard en 1980) décident de relancer Luv'. En juillet 2017, les dames célèbrent leur 40 ans de carrière dans la chanson avec leurs fans. Le 4 janvier 2019, le groupe annonce un énième changement de formation dans le journal quotidien le plus lu des Pays-Bas De Telegraaf: la personnalité des médias Chimène van Oosterhout replace Ria Thielsch. Le nouveau trio sort un single latin pop-reggaeton intitulé With Him Tonight en juillet 2019, soit vingt-cinq ans après leur dernier album All You Need Is Luv' . Le 7 février 2020, le management du groupe informe les médias et le public que Luv' cesse toutes ses activités en raison de la mauvaise santé de José Hoebee. (fr)
