Luis Alfonso Alarcón Mansilla (born 23 October 1929), popularly known as Lucho Alarcón, is a Chilean actor, theater director, and activist with a distinguished film, television, and stage career. In 1957, Alarcón began working as a stage actor participating in university theaters – , , Concepción, – and in independent companies. He later began his career as a cinematic actor, appearing in emblematic films such as Three Sad Tigers, Jackal of Nahueltoro, The Expropriation, Julio comienza en julio, Nadie dijo nada, Little White Dove, Caluga o menta, and The Shipwrecked.

Posteriormente, Alarcón sería etiquetado como el «actor estelar de Sabatini», refiriéndose a sus múltiples apariciones en las superproducciones de Vicente Sabatini, emitidas por Televisión Nacional de Chile, con gran éxito por su contenido social. En 1999, protagonizó junto a Claudia Di Girolamo, La fiera, que se convirtió en una telenovela elogiada y premiada, considerada parte de la época de oro de la telenovela chilena. Desde 1995 a 2008 fue parte de los elencos estables de Sabatini. Tras el éxito del mismo, Alarcón continuó con personajes importantes en cine, teatro y televisión. En 1993, fue fundamental en la creación de ChileActores, en la que se convertiría en el Presidente fundador.
