- Η Βιβλιοθήκη του Πανταίνου ήταν κτίριο της Αρχαίας Αθήνας. Βρισκόταν στη νοτιοανατολική άκρη της Αρχαίας Αγοράς της Αθήνας, νότια της Στοάς του Αττάλου, αριστερά της οδού Παναθηναίων. Την έκτισε ο Αθηναίος φιλόσοφος ανάμεσα στο 98 και 102 μ.Χ., την εποχή του Ρωμαϊου Αυτοκράτορα Τραϊανού. Το κτίριο της βιβλιοθήκης αφιερώθηκε στην Αθηνά Αρχηγέτιδα, τον ίδιο τον Τραϊανό αλλά και τον λαό της Αθήνας, σύμφωνα με επιγραφή που υπήρχε στο ανώφλι της κύριας εισόδου και διατηρήθηκε ενσωματωμένο στο υστερορωμαϊκό τείχος. Το κτίριο σώζεται ακόμη και σήμερα αλλά σε αποσπασματική κατάσταση. Είναι εν μέρει καλυμμένο από το υστερορωμαϊκό τείχος της Αγοράς και κυρίως από έναν μεγάλο πύργο. Αποτελεί ένα από τα κτίρια, στα οποία ανθούσε η μελέτη της φιλοσοφίας και η λατρεία των Μουσών. Καταστράφηκε το 267 μ.Χ. κατά την επιδρομή των Ερούλων και κατά τον 5ο αιώνα ενσωματώθηκε σε ένα μεγάλο περίστυλο οικοδόμημα. (el)

- The Library of Pantainos was a building in ancient Athens. It was located at the southeast end of the Agora of Athens, south of the Stoa of Attalus, on the left side of Panathenaion Street. It was built by the Athenian philosopher Titus Flavius Pantainos between 98 and 102 AD, during the reign of the Roman emperor Trajan. The library building was dedicated to Athena Archegetis, with Trajan himself and the people of Athens, according to an inscription on the lintel of the main entrance, which is preserved embedded in the late Roman wall,. The monument still survives today but is in a fragmentary state. It is partially covered by the late Roman wall of the Agora and mainly by a large tower. It is one of the buildings where the study of philosophy and the cult of the Muses flourished. Destroyed in 267 A.D. during the Herulian incursion, it was incorporated in the 5th century into the great peristyle. (en)
