- Areeta (en èuscar Areeta, en castellà Las Arenas) és un barri del municipi de Getxo, al territori històric de Biscaia. És el segon nucli poblacional d'aquesta localitat amb 29.527 habitants (dades de 2010), dels quals 12.798 són homes i 14.718 dones. (ca)
- Las Arenas (en euskera Areeta, oficialmente Las Arenas / Areeta) es un barrio del municipio de Guecho, en la provincia vasca de Vizcaya (España). Es el segundo núcleo poblacional de dicha localidad con 26 807 habitantes (datos de 2013), de los cuales 12 444 son hombres y 14 363 mujeres. Se trata de un barrio de densidad poblacional media en el que se combina una nutrida zona comercial en torno a la calle Mayor con zonas residenciales.Cuenta con un Centro de Salud en la calle Amaya en el barrio de Santa Ana y con dos paradas de metro: Areeta (Las Arenas) y Gobela. Las Arenas está conectado a Portugalete por medio del Puente Colgante y a Algorta por medio de la Avenida Zugazarte. Tiene también un puerto de recreo y una playa (lo que queda de los antiguos arenales de la zona que dan nombre al barrio). Las Arenas se puede dividir en los siguientes barrios:
* Las Mercedes: vertebrado en torno a la calle Mayor.
* Santa Ana: barrio residencial colindante al municipio de Lejona.
* Antiguo Golf
* Romo: pertenece en su mayoría a Las Arenas, y una pequeña parte al municipio de Leioa.
* Zugazarte: en torno a la avenida Zugazarte, desde su inicio en la avenida de Las Arenas hasta su confluencia con la avenida de Algorta. (es)

- Areeta (Las Arenas in Spanish) is a neighbourhood of Getxo (Biscay, Basque Country, Spain). It is an affluent residential area that was built over the sands of a beach where the Gobela Creek died into a diffuse delta at the mouth of the Estuary of Bilbao in the early 20th century. It is connected to Portugalete at the other side of the firth by the Vizcaya Bridge transporter bridge and offers a marina, a small beach that can unfortunately be polluted, and a monument to Evaristo Churruca, who planned and directed the channelization of the estuary. The Vizcaya Bridge is now a tourist attraction with visitors able to go by lift to the top of the bridge (from where it was originally operated). (en)

È collegato a Portugalete sull'altro lato del fiume dal Ponte di Vizcaya (Zubi Esekia) e offre un porto turistico, una piccola spiaggia che può essere purtroppo inquinata, e un monumento a , che ha progettato e diretto la canalizzazione dell'estuario. Lo Zubi Esekia è ora un'attrazione turistica. I visitatori possono salire con l'ascensore fino alla cima del ponte. (it)
