- Lars Olof Hjälmered, born 22 February 1977, is a Swedish politician for the Moderate Party. He has been a member of the Riksdag since 2006. He is currently taking up seat number 128 for the constituency of Gothenburg Municipality. He is as of May 2019 Speaker of the Committee for Industry and Trade, he was vice-Speaker for the same committee from 2014 until 2018. He has also been vice-Speaker for the Committee Transport and Communication from October 2014 until December 2014. Hjälmered is a trained civil engineer in mechanical engineering, he studied at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. He has worked at Volvo Aero in Trollhättan before he was elected to the Riksdag. He has also been a member of Gothenburg's municipal council. (en)
