- La Exposición de Ganadería, Agricultura e Industria Internacional, tal es su nombre oficial, conocida popularmente como La Rural o Palermo o Predio Ferial de Buenos Aires, es el evento anual que la Sociedad Rural Argentina realiza en su Predio Ferial de Palermo, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Por lo general se lleva a cabo durante el mes de julio -antes abarcaba también la primera quincena de agosto- y es considerada la muestra agropecuaria más importante y tradicional de Argentina. Hasta 2022 se celebraron 133 ediciones y se ha convertido a lo largo de los años en el ámbito de negocios más trascendente de la comunidad agroindustrial, siendo el punto de encuentro de productores, contratistas, empresarios, profesionales, estudiantes y técnicos de la Argentina y el mundo. Es reconocida principalmente por la ganadería, donde se exponen diferentes especies y razas aunque también tiene una fuerte presencia la agricultura, la industria, el comercio y la educación agrícologanaderos. El Predio Ferial de Buenos Aires, fundado en 1878 con la celebración de la tercera Exposición Nacional de Ganadería, brinda una superficie cubierta de 45.000 m², 10 000 m² descubiertos y de espacios verdes, y un estacionamiento subterráneo con capacidad para mil automóviles, donde exponen más de 4500 expositores de animales y 400 comerciales, con una asistencia de público superior al millón de personas. En la década de 1990 Carlos Menem, presidente por aquel entonces, vendió el predio ferial de Palermo a la Sociedad Rural Argentina. La operación fue denunciada como una supuesta venta a precio vil por el José María Campagnoli, siendo procesadas altas autoridades del país y de la SRA, quienes actualmente se encuentran sometidas a juicio oral por corrupción. - La Exposición Rural (in English: The Rural Exhibition), is an annual agricultural and livestock show held in the Palermo section of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The event is organized by Sociedad Rural Argentina and both the exhibition and the society are known locally as La Rural. The exhibition has taken place in the society's Santa Fe Avenue exhibition centre and fairground, each year in July since its founding on July 10,1886. The Society was founded by Eduardo Olivera and José Martínez de Hoz with the motto 'To cultivate the soil is to serve the country', and was formerly known as 'El Solar de Palermo'. Built in the 1870s, the Society's showground features a Belle Epoque stadium and a modern exhibition hall. During the rest of the year, the exhibition hall is used for other events including trade shows. The Opera Pampa organizes shows in the stadium, showcasing the history of Argentina with zamba dances and an asado in the dining rooms. With over 10,000 members, the Society has branch offices in many parts of the country. Primarily a farming show, breeders arrive from all over the country to exhibit their livestock, particularly cattle at La Rural. It has become a major feature of the porteño social scene in prosperous Argentina, taking place in Buenos Aires' most exclusive neighbourhood and accompanied by balls and other events. However, with the onset of the country's economic crisis towards the end of the 20th century, the event lost some of its vitality, although it is still popular with visitors. In 2005, 715,000 people visited the exhibition, which had almost 400 stands and 4,000 animals. It is considered to be one of the most important and traditional events for Argentinean agriculture. Additionally, throughout the years La Rural has become a space for important negotiation and business within the agro-indisutrial community, having strong presences of agriculture, industry, trade and education. A mostra, uma das mais importantes da Argentina, realiza-se normalmente em Julho, mas já abarcou a primeira quinzena de Agosto. Em 2016 realizou-se a 130ª edição do certame. A principal atracção é a ganadaria, com diversas espécies em exposição, mas a La Rural é também um espaço em que se mostram os avanços da indústria do país. A Exposição realiza-se no , aberto em 1878 com a terceira Exposição Nacional de Ganadaria. Situa-se no bairro de Palermo e inclui uma área coberta de 45 mil metros quadrados, além de 10 mil metros quadrados ao ar livre, espaços verdes e um estacionamento subterrâneo com capacidade para cerca de mil viaturas.
