- LPG is a Dutch indie-pop band, signed on Excelsior Recordings/V2 Records. In April 2005, their critically acclaimed debut album I fear no foe was released in the Netherlands, receiving positive reviews from established magazines and websites, such as Oor, VPRO 3voor12 and Volkskrant. There were few negative reviews, which mostly struggled with the applause in the opening track Speech, and the diversity of the band. Shortlty after releasing the debut album, the band released a homemade music video to the song Sparrow, which consisted out of more than 1500 separate photos, resulting in an artistic animation. All in their early twenties, the band toured the Netherlands and supported such acts as The Cribs and Zita Swoon. In January 2006, the band announced the song Belly Rollercoaster from their debut album I fear no foe was to be used in a worldwide TV commercial for the Nokia 6280 mobile phone. The music video to this song proved a struggle to make, and was released several months after its premature release party. (en)

Ispirate dal successo della giovane cantante semi-trot Jang Yoon Jeong, le LPG hanno però all'attivo solo due album e due singoli, il primo dei quali, 캉캉 (Can Can), è appunto una canzone ispirata al genere francese del can-can. - LPG(Lovely Pretty Girls)는 대한민국의 여성 그룹이다. 2005년 4인조로 데뷔하였으며, 2009년 멤버 전원이 탈퇴한 뒤 5인조로 재편했다. 약자 또한 1기의 약자는 'Long Pretty Girl'이었으나 2기의 약자는 'Lovely Pretty Girl'로 바뀌었다. 2013년에 3기에서 9인조로 바뀌었으나 2015년에 5명이 탈퇴하면서 4인조로 재정비함과 동시에 장르도 K-pop, 댄스 장르로 바꿔서 활동하였다. 2016년 해체되었다. (ko)
