- Knutepunkt je každoročně pořádaná skandinávská konference o larpu. Poprvé byla pořádána v roce 1997 a stala se životně důležitou institucí při hledání identity severského larpu. Formulovala celý koncept skandinávského larpu jako specifického přístupu. Celé avantgardní hnutí, které podporuje radikální experimenty a deklaraci larpu jako umělecké formy, bylo a je velmi úzce napojeno právě na Knutepunkt. Během posledních let se záběr konference výrazně rozšířil. V důsledku toho se také konference od roku 2005 začali účastnit i účastníky z neskandinávských zemí, např. z USA, Německa, Francie, Itálie a Ruska. Od roku 2007 se konference účastní i Češi. (cs)
- The Knutepunkt is an annual role-playing game conference held annually in the Nordic countries since 1997. It has been a vital institution in establishing a Nordic role-playing identity, and in establishing the concept of "Nordic larp" as a unique approach. Though the conference started out strictly as a Live action role-playing (larp for short) event, it has since embraced role-playing games in a more general fashion. Today the conference still has an emphasis on larp, but programs devoted to traditional tabletop role-playing as well as newer arrivals such as freeform are common. A live action role-playing avant-garde movement, which pursues radical experimentation and the recognition of role-playing as a form of art, has been connected to the Knutepunkt conferences. The scope of the Knutepunkt conference has expanded rather rapidly over the last few years with participants showing up from numerous non-Scandinavian countries. Since about 2003 Knutepunkt has seen participants from the United States, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Russia, Estonia, Belarus, Belgium, the Netherlands, Israel, Czech Republic, United Kingdom and Austria, among others. - Knutepunkt est une convention annuelle de conférences sur le jeu de rôle grandeur nature, tenue depuis 1997 dans les pays scandinaves. Cet évènement est une institution majeure dans l'établissement du concept de « larp nordique », approche expérimentale ou d'avant-garde du grandeur nature dans les pays nordiques, et plus globalement des différentes formes de jeu de rôle. Ce concept de larp nordique vise notamment à l'expérimentation des formes possibles et à la reconnaissance du jeu de rôle grandeur nature en tant que forme d'art. Ces jeux expérimentaux se focalisent par exemple sur les revendications politiques et sociales (utopies, actions humanitaires), des expériences physiques ou psychologiques brutales pour les joueurs (enfermement, torture, violences), des aspects immersifs poussés (jeu permanent, interaction avec non-joueurs), des techniques de pointe, des systèmes narratifs originaux... etc. Le champ des conférences Knutepunkt s'est étendu au fil des années à des pratiques connexes, et à la présentation et comparaison des pratiques d'autres pays. Le nom de la convention varie selon le pays d'accueil : Knutepunkt est le terme norvégien pour « point de rencontre », les conventions en Suède sont nommées Knutpunkt, Knudepunkt au Danemark, Solmukohta en Finlande. Knutpunkt har etablerat och stärkt den nordiska lajvstilens särdrag: skepsis mot regler, minimiering av strid och magi samt förkastande av anakronism i såväl utrustning som spel[källa behövs]. Under senare år har debatten behandlat rollspelsmediets möjligheter och begränsningar inom så skilda områden som performancekonst, politisk aktivism och pedagogik. (sv)
