- Adrià Comnè, en grec medieval Ἀδριανός Κομνηνός, nascut cap al 1088 i mort el 1163 o 1164, va ser un príncep de l'Imperi Romà d'Orient, membre de la dinastia dels Comnè, que es va fer monjo i va arribar al càrrec d'arquebisbe d'Ocrida amb el nom de Joan IV d'Ocrida (Ἰωάννης Δ΄) des de l'any 1139 o 1142 fins a la seva mort, en algun moment del 1163 o 1164. Es coneixen pocs detalls de la seva vida. Era nebot de l'emperador Aleix I Comnè, i va rebre una bona formació cultural i militar. Va ser governador de la província de Càldia, on es va distingir pel seu bon govern, almenys segons un text conservat escrit en honor seu. Estava casat i tenia almenys dues filles, però se'n sap poc d'elles i de la seva descendència. Al final es va fer monjo, amb el nom de Joan. Entre els anys 1136 i 1138 va acompanyar el seu cosí Joan II Comnè en les seves campanyes i va pelegrinar a Terra Santa. Cap al 1142 o 1143, havia estat nomenat arquebisbe d'Ocrida, càrrec que va mantenir fins a la seva mort el 1163/1164. Va ser el primer ocupant d'aquell càrrec, i va utilitzar el títol d'arquebisbe de «Justiniana Prima i tot Bulgària» (cap de l'Archiodioecesis Iustinianensis Prima), que després es va convertir en el nom de la seu. - Adrianos Komnenos (Greek: Ἀδριανός Κομνηνός; c. 1088 – 1163/64) was a Byzantine prince of the Komnenian dynasty, who became a monk and served as Archbishop of Ohrid as John IV (Ἰωάννης Δ΄) between 1139/42 and his death, sometime in 1163/64. Few details about his life are known. As a younger nephew of the Byzantine emperor Alexios I Komnenos, he received a good education and military training. He went on to serve as governor of the province of Chaldia, where he distinguished himself by his good government, at least according to a celebratory piece written in his honour. He was married and had at least two daughters, but little is known of them or their offspring. Eventually he became a monk, under the name of John. In 1136–1138 he accompanied his cousin John II Komnenos on campaign, and went on to pilgrimage in the Holy Land. By 1142/43, he had been appointed as Archbishop of Ohrid, a position he maintained until his death in 1163/64. He was the first occupant of the office to use the title "Archbishop of Justiniana Prima and all Bulgaria", which later became the standard title of the see. (en)
