- El Premi de la Llibertat John Humphrey era atorgat anualment pel grup de drets humans canadenc, , a una organització o individu de qualsevol país o regió del món per assoliments excepcionals en la promoció dels drets humans i desenvolupament democràtic. Va ser establert el 1992 i deixà d'atorgar-se en 2011. El premi consistia en una subvenció de 25.000 dòlars canadencs, així com un recorregut de xerrades per les ciutats canadenques per ajudar a augmentar la consciència del treball dels drets humans del receptor. Va ser nomenat en honor de John Peters Humphrey, un professor canadenc legislació de drets humans que va preparar el primer esborrany de la Declaració Universal dels Drets Humans. (ca)
- The John Humphrey Freedom Award was presented annually by the Canadian human rights group Rights & Democracy, to an organization or individual from any country or region of the world for exceptional achievement in the promotion of human rights and democratic development. It was established in 1992. The award consisted of a grant of C$25,000, as well as a speaking tour of Canadian cities to help increase awareness of the recipient’s human rights work. It was named in honor of John Peters Humphrey, a Canadian human rights law professor who prepared the first draft of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. (en)
