Jenny Galt is a Canadian singer-songwriter best known as one of the finalists on the television show Rock Star: Supernova. Born in 1976 in Montreal, and educated in Ottawa (with music studies at Carleton University), Galt has been based in Vancouver for the past decade, where her group Cherrybomb (later called Yellow Light) played to favourable reviews, with tours of both Canada and Australia. The group released four albums, most recently Speed of Light in 2005. She also has two songs on the Canadian TV series, Falcon Beach. She began a solo career in 2006, with her pop rock work being well received. In 2013, she auditioned for the third season of Polish version of X Factor.
