- تم توقيع اتفاقية جدة في الفترة من 3 إلى 4 يناير 1987 في جدة السعودية قِبل أكويلينو بيمنتل جونيور ممثلاً عن حكومة الفلبين ونور ميسواري من الجبهة الوطنية لتحرير مورو. اتفق الطرفين على استمرار مناقشة اقتراح منح الحكم الذاتي الكامل لمينداناو، باسيلان، سولو، تاوي تاوي، بالاوان الخاضعة للديمقراطية. منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي برئاسة الأمين العام لمنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي سيد شريف الدين بيرزادا سهلت الاتفاقية. وكان من بين أعضاء اللجنة الآخرين بوتز أكينو صهر الرئيس كورازون أكينو ، الذي يمثل الحكومة الفلبينية وجوزيف بانغولوت، الذي يمثل جبهة مورو للتحرير الوطني. - The Jeddah Accord was signed on January 3–4, 1987 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia by Aquilino Pimentel Jr., representing the Government of the Philippines and Nur Misuari of the Moro National Liberation Front. The two panels agreed upon the continued discussion of the proposal of the grant of full autonomy to Mindanao, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi and Palawan subject to democratic processes. The Organization of Islamic Conference, headed by OIC Secretary General Syed Sharifuddin Pirzada facilitated the agreement. Other panel members included Butz Aquino, brother-in-law of then President Corazon Aquino, representing the Philippine government and Joseph B. Banghulot, representing the MNLF. (en)
