- La Federació Internacional d'Esports per a Cecs (en anglès: International Blind Sports Federation - IBSA) és el nom que rep la federació internacional d'esports per a cecs. Va ser fundada el 1981 a París i té la seu a Bonn, Alemanya. Compta amb 115 federacions nacionals afiliades, i s'integra en el Comitè Paralímpic Internacional (IPC). - Die International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) ist der internationale Blinden- und Sehbehindertensportverband. Die Non-Profit-Organisation wurde 1981 in Paris gegründet und hat ihren Sitz in Bonn. Ihr Ziel ist es, die Teilhabe blinder und sehbehinderter Menschen am Sport zu fördern. Die IBSA ist ein Gründungsmitglied des Internationalen Paralympischen Komitees. Deutsches Mitglied der IBSA ist der Deutsche Behindertensportverband. Österreich wird vom Österreichischen Behindertensportverband, die Schweiz von der Organisation Plusport Behindertensport Schweiz vertreten. Die Tätigkeit der IBSA umfasst folgende Sportarten (Stand: April 2018): Bowling, Fußball, Gewichtheben, Goalball, Judo, Kegeln, Leichtathletik, Schach, Schießen, Schwimmen, Tischball und Torball. Von 2003 bis 2015 wurden alle vier Jahre werden die IBSA-Weltmeisterschaften (IBSA World Games) durchgeführt. Diese Veranstaltung fand erstmals 1998 in Madrid (Spanien) statt. 2019 finden kein IBSA-Weltmeisterschaften statt, weil kein Bewerberland alle Wettbewerbe ausrichten konnte. 2023 sollen die Weltmeisterschaften wieder stattfinden. Unter der Regie der IBSA gibt es auch kontinentale sowie in einzelnen Sportarten regionale Meisterschaften. (de)

IBSA's mission is to promote the full integration of blind and partially-sighted people in society through sport and to encourage people with a visual impairment to take up and practise sports. IBSA is a full and founding member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). In March 2022, in light of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, it banned Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from its events. (en)

A sua missão é promover a integração dos cegos e pessoas com visão parciais na sociedade, através do desporto, e encorajar as pessoas com deficiências visuais a praticar desportos. É uma federação internacional independente encarregue de quinze desportos para os cegos e parcialmente visuais, entre os quais: Atletismo, Esqui alpino, Golbol, Futsal (Futebol), , Biatlo, Natação, , Tiro, Tiro com arco, Showdown, Boliche (com dez e com nove pinos) Esqui nórdico e Ciclismo. A IBSA é um membro do Comité Paralímpico Internacional (IPC). (pt)
