- العمليات المعلوماتية (إنجليزية:Information Operations) وتُعرف كذلك بعمليات التأثير، هي عمليات تتضمن جمع معلومات تكتيكية عن الخصم ونشر البروباغندا سعيا لتحقيق الأفضلية عليه. اجراءات متخذة للتأثير على نظم المعلومات والمعلومات الخاصة بالخصوم، كما تشمل الشائعات التي تنشر عمداً على نطاق واسع للتأثير على الآراء. - Information Operations is a category of direct and indirect support operations for the United States Military. By definition in Joint Publication 3-13, "IO are described as the integrated employment of electronic warfare (EW), computer network operations (CNO), psychological operations (PSYOP), military deception (MILDEC), and operations security (OPSEC), in concert with specified supporting and related capabilities, to influence, disrupt, corrupt or usurp adversarial human and automated decision making while protecting our own." Information Operations (IO) are actions taken to affect adversary information and information systems while defending one's own information and information systems. In the U.S. Navy, information operations are often supervised by a Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC), for example in the United States Tenth Fleet which has several NIOCs. (en)
- Las operaciones de información, también conocidas por la abreviatura Info Ops y las siglas IO (del inglés Information Operations) son un categoría de operaciones militares de apoyo directo e indirecto cuyo objetivo es afectar a la información y sistemas de información del adversario y/o defender la información y sistemas de información propios. Su objetivo es influir, interrumpir, corromper o usurpar la habilidad de tomar o comunicar decisiones de los adversarios (humanas o automatizadas) y proteger las propias. Debido a que hacen un uso comedido de la violencia, este tipo de operaciones se usan como elemento persuasivo para disuadir del conflicto armado. A nivel de la OTAN, las operaciones de información son coordinadas por la OTAN Doctrine Joint Publication 3-13, perfeccionadas con proyectos tales como el Experimento de Operaciones de Información Multinacionales (MNIOE) para mejorar la colaboración en interoperabilidad multinacional.
