- IEs4Linux es un script que permite de manera simple disponer y ejecutar Internet Explorer en Linux (o cualquier otro SO ejecutando Wine). Además es libre y de código abierto. Es posible instalar las versiones de IE 5, 5.5 y 6; actualmente en fase beta se trabaja en el soporte para IE7, usando el renderizado de éste en la interfaz de IE 6, con lo cual el soporte aún es parcial, pero sirve perfectamente para mostrar cómo se ven las páginas en el navegador. Esta aplicación está orientada a desarrolladores web, pues permite revisar sus proyectos en cuanto a compatibilidad con diferentes navegadores. (es)
- IEs4Linux is a free and open source script that allows a user to run Internet Explorer (IE) using Wine. It is possible to install Internet Explorer versions 5, 5.5, and 6, along with partial functionality of IE7 (the layout engine was loaded into the IE6 interface, which works well enough to demonstrate how the target page looks in IE7). This application is oriented towards web developers: it allows users of non-Windows operating systems to view their web pages in a similar manner to how they look on Windows and user who need to use web applications targeted to IE users. There was a blog post on January 5, 2011 announcing that the developers are now working to support IE9 and will soon release a new version after almost three years of inactivity, however there was never a new release. - IEs4Linux é um script livre e open source que permite ao usuário executar o Internet Explorer (IE) no Wine (normalmente em Linux). É possível instalar versões do Internet Explorer 5, 5.5 e 6, juntamente com a funcionalidade parcial do IE7 (o motor de layout é carregado na interface do IE6, que funciona bem o suficiente para mostrar páginas como no IE7). Esta aplicação é voltada para desenvolvedores web: ele permite que os usuários não-Windows vejam suas páginas web de uma forma semelhante à forma como eles olham no Windows. Assim, uma vez que o objetivo principal é fazer com que o Internet Explorer trabalhe em sistemas além do Windows (usando Wine), pode ser menos propenso a ter problema com os vírus e/ou malwares. (pt)
