- The House of the Good Shepherd (Slovak: Dom U dobrého pastiera) is a narrow, Rococo-style building in Bratislava, Slovakia, located in the Old Town below Bratislava Castle. It was built in 1760–1765 by notable Bratislava master-mason . The townhouse was constructed for a local merchant and the lower part of the building was used for commercial purposes, the upper part for living. It is one of the few buildings in the area below Bratislava Castle to retain their original state, mostly due to the demolition of much of the Jewish quarter in the 20th century. Today, the house is home to the Museum of Clocks, which exhibits antique clocks made from 17th to the beginning of the 20th century, specializing in 18th and 19th century timepieces from Bratislava clockmakers. The ground floor and basement serve as a pub. It gained its title because of the statue of Christ, the Good Shepherd, on its corner. The House of the Good Shepherd is considered to be one of the most beautiful Rococo-style buildings in Central Europe. (en)
- La Casa del Buon Pastore (in slovacco: Dom U dobrého pastiera) è un edificio stretto in stile rococò di Bratislava, in Slovacchia, ubicato nella Città Vecchia sotto il castello. Venne costruito nel 1760–1765 dal noto maestro muratore di Bratislava, Matej Hollrigl. La residenza venne costruita per un commerciante locale e la parte inferiore dell'edificio venne utilizzata per scopi commerciali, mentre la parte superiore era adibita ad abitazione. Si tratta di uno dei pochi edifici della zona sotto al castello di Bratislava a mantenere il suo stato originale, soprattutto a causa della demolizione di gran parte del quartiere ebraico nel XX secolo. Oggi è sede del Museo dell'orologio, che espone antichi orologi realizzati dal XVII secolo agli inizi del XX, specializzato in pezzi del XVIII secolo e XIX di costruttori di Bratislava. Il piano terra e il seminterrato sono stati trasformati in un pub. L'edificio ha preso il nome dalla statua di Cristo, Buon Pastore, che si trova ad un suo angolo. La Casa del Buon Pastore è considerata uno dei più begli edifici in stile rococò in Europa centrale. (it)
