- Heroes of Wrestling was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event that took place on October 10, 1999 from the Casino Magic hotel and casino in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The event was meant to be the first in a series of pay-per-views that would feature popular wrestling stars from the 1980s and early 1990s. Plans for the franchise were abandoned following the event, which suffered from a poor buy rate and several controversies, most notably a disastrous main event featuring an extremely inebriated Jake Roberts who teamed up with Yokozuna in the main event, only to lose to Jim Neidhart and King Kong Bundy in a tag team match. Il s'agit de l'unique spectacle de catch produit par cette société qui a alors souhaité remettre en scène d'anciennes gloires du catch des années 1980 et du début des années 1990. Neuf matchs ont été programmés ce soir-là et les deux matchs phares annoncés ont été Jim Neidhart contre Jake Roberts ainsi que Yokozuna contre King Kong Bundy mais en raison de problèmes causés par Roberts, ces deux matchs se sont transformés en match par équipe. Ce spectacle fut vivement critiqué après sa diffusion à cause non seulement de la condition physique des divers lutteurs, mais aussi des problèmes de la production. (fr)

Los planes para una posible franquicia fueron abandonados tras el evento, que sufrió de una pésima recaudación y algunas controversias, siendo la más notoria un evento principal desastroso incluyendo a un Jake Roberts ebrio.
